Rescue the stranded astronaut

But weak signals impacts your controls. First with noisy inputs but if the signals gets worse you may experience delays and even total control black outs!

Instructions

The further you fly from base, the weaker your control signal gets. At low signal your controls get noisy. Weaker still and your inputs are delayed. Cut the link entirely and your ship goes dark. Drop LoS Relays to extend your signal chain in a straight line. Drop AoE Nodes to blanket an area when line-of-sight isn't possible. Plan your chain, grab the astronaut, and bring them home.

Controls

  • W = Thrust
  • A/D = Rotate
  • Q/S = Control Hook
  • Space = Release Hook
  • 1 = Drop Long Range LoS Antenna
  • 2 = Place AoE Wall Piercing Node

The use of physics in this game is really cool. I love the fact that when you hook an astronaut or a box and it starts to sway that your ship becomes impacted by the force of the object as well.

The signal loss and noise affecting ship control was also a great touch. And the atmosphere is really cool and spacey. This was a really good entry!

I really like the mechanic! Being able to make the signal move through nodes is very interesting! I would have liked a bit more control over the ship it kept crashing into walls or even the astronaut himself XD

Dude this was great, my favourite so far.
Took a bit of time to dust off my old "lander" skills, but once I got the hang of it, it was really fun trying to get my little guy home. Really felt like i was on a dangerous mission to save a dude with limited resources. (I lol'd the first time I splatted him against a cliff)

If I had one criticism I would say that maybe the combination of tricky Lander-style controls with the signal mechanic makes the difficulty a bit high. I would maybe make flying a bit easier so that players can focus more on the unique "control signal" mechanic.

But I got all the way to the end and had a lot of fun doing it. well done

Best one I played so far. Very well executed. Love the audio in particular, both SFX and music.

this is the most frustrating thing I've experienced in my entire life. But only like 15% of that frustration doesn't feel like it was deliberate

Very cool experience, just a little too punishing for misplacing relays, imo

Incredible game, with potential to be commercialized.
