I can be more effective
I must be for Panda
Oh my god, the cuteness of the graphics! Everything is just so so good, look at the little bunniiiiiiessss aaaaaaaa💖💖💖
There's sooooo much polish in this little game, I love it:
- The sparkling ressources to signal they can be picked up!
- The little question marks on idle bunnies!
- The little upside down bunnies when you pick them up that swing lightly from left to right
- How everything you can interact with gets highlit with big satisfying arrows when you pick up anything!
- Poda's animation, and the niiiice heftiness to its jump!!
- All the little super super clean UI elements, like the counters that show how many bunnies are assigned anywhere! So smart to keep everything crystal clear at a glance!
This all really makes the game completely effortless to play! And there are so many clever decisions that just stem naturally from the design to give the optimisation game a little crunchiness! You can micromanage the bunnies, but then they drop their ressources, and the higher tier the buildings are, the more it becomes actually efficient to leave your bunnies to bring the ressources in by themselves, and how this interaction stems super naturally from the fact that the bunnies drop everything and must be reassigned after every jump. I think it's super elegant and really adds that layer of micro-management to the game that gives that leeway for even faster times with the right APMs. So elegant.
The music is really whimsical, and all the little satisfying plops and clanks for the tools really tie the design together.
It's such a simple idea, nothing exactly new gameplay-wise - except from the little twist from the theme - but it's executed on so flawlessly I can't help but love it.
Thank you. Incredible work to all the team!
Graphics and sound all a-tier.
That style is too cute !
Score 201 :)
Statue took a while, *only* 280 years, but I was more interested in filling the map with bunnies :)) and had great fun with it. Core loop is great, the graphics/sounds are great, and the theme is integrated very well.
I do feel however like the jam theme is more of a limiting factor than anything, as it gets somewhat repetitive after a while. Having more varied events happening not necessarily on a schedule would probably add quite a bit of depth. But that's for the post jam version to consider of course - which I think you should totally do and release.
Very solid entry, a great little game!
Loved the coments of the Panda  It's Poda, sorry! :grimacing:
Honestly this is such a cool and chill game. I like these little strategy/resource manager/builders and this one is on par with other in the genre.
I know that for the feedback to be useful it should include some criticism, but I was sitting here thinking of something and I couldn't think of anything. It's prefect in the scope that it was built. If anything I would just like it to have more content, but that is obviously limited by the jam time
Good job!
Very satisfying gameplay, one of the best entries I've seen so far, 5/5
i really love how pretty it was, it looks like a game I could have on my phone!
I loved the fact that you are nopt idle while the bunny are working : you can still help them to speed up the process so it's never boring. I think it's a really neat addition to simply controlling the bunny.
It took me 160 year to make poda happy... That clearly still took waaay too long for him however
The panda hits the perfect sweet spot of being annoying but not overly frustrating :)
Great job on everything - its cute fun and addictive!
Only thing I would add is that the clean up after a slam is a pain - I want a magnet thing to scoop up the resources (as an upgrade or something)

Not sure if it was an intended strat, but I found that upgrading the resources first and then picking up the bunnies straight after they left meant I could click and drag the resources while they gathered more. Only comment I would make is that it got a little difficult to select the resources that were dropped by the statue at the end of the game because of all the bunnies trying to build, but that's probably down to the strategy I was using rather than any UX issue.
Really great game, congrats!

Really good!
The game concept is simple, but really fun ! Love how you need to reassign your bunnies every ten seconds, even though it can seem frustrating at the first place, it is actually interesting as it forces the player to stay focused
I wish there were more levels to it ! I hope you'll continue it one day, it's really promising !
Good job~
Amazing game with beautiful art! Great job team, all of you did great!

Good job :)
As an incremental game this was very well done, and a new style of active play I haven't seen before. Usually you have a clicking mechanic that gets boring extremely fast. Then you have full automation games where you purpose is just to buy upgrades. That's a better option but can still make you feel a bit too far from the core gameplay.
But basically you combine the 2 elements together. Your active play is to repair your constantly failing automation, which is much more engaging than simply clicking mindlessly. All the little juice that goes into watching your workers flop all over + picking them up and deploying it thus becomes extremely important since that is your main action in the game, and you executed super well on it.
The meta upgrades are very satisfying to use, especially buying the upgraded roads where you can now micro the resource flow less and just focus on finishing out the pyramid.
Great presentation overall which got me interested in it in the first place. It's nice to see something fresh in an otherwise stale genre.

You built a lot of statues together, Poda is really happy now.
I am slowly going though all games from people who left a comment here, it will take me some time but I'll go and play each of them!

@makar-ss Cutest comment I've ever seen (thanks) 🐰
@bangkerpow @tam @yogurtthehorse @kavehes @sean-esopenko @phillip-scott Thank you! I agree with you, clicking on resources or bunnies near the end of the game is a bit of a hassle, we'll try to think of some way to avoid this if we do a future version! Cleaner bunnies, magnet or vacuum for resources all seem like good ideas, thanks!
@thatzniko YOU ARE AMAZING 🗿
@gibss Thanks for the comment! I think I see what you mean, like the Panda mechanic can feel like it was put on top of it? I can agree, yet it's funny because it was actually the opposite when we designed the game. Our conversation with Blibloop went something like:
Blibloop: "Ok picture this, there is a big panda, and he's chilling, and then he gets angry every ten seconds or something"
Me: "Ok cool, but what's the game?"
Blibloop: "..."
And then we went through several ideas before setting to a tiny management / god game!
(also 117 is a very impressive score, my best was 120 before today)
@okshirl Thank you so much! Panda defo needs to chill, and maybe Blibloop (@dodidouda) too, because she's too talented 💖
@fae-pdf yaay I'm always happy to see your analysis of our games. It's so cool to see you point out every little details or design decision we took. This time especially, since I was a bit scared to do a "management" kind of game. It felt so hard to make it understandable. But with a lot of playtests and around half the jam spent on polish and reworks, I'm really proud of what we managed to do! Thank you once more for taking the time to play our game and write this lovely analysis 💕🐰
@teddyreid Thank you! That's an interesting idea, we'll keep it in mind if we do a future version!
@ingo-holle Thank you so much! Blibloop (@dodidouda) is indeed very talented, and needs to hear it haha ✨ I agree with you, it needs a bit of balancing or design to make it a bit less disrupting near when you have a lot of bunnies.
@hoffi309 Thanks! Thats an impressive score 👀
@lawrence Thanks a lot that's a lovely comment 💖
@heremeus Thanks a lot! Blibloop (@dodidouda) is indeed very impressive (and funny too)!
@karen-shum Thank you so much ✨ We'll try to add more upgrades or variation if we do a future release!
@misterstripey Thanks a lot! it was absolutely lovely to see you play it and comment it on stream 💕
@saltysa Thanks for the nice comment! We are right, we need to balance it bettre when there are a lot of bunnies if we do a future version!
@johanhelsing Thanks a lot! I am very happy to see you mention Frogloop 🐸
@pychewing Thank you! Nice catch, overlapping bunnies can have the wrong layer order, I'll fix this in a post jam version. Thanks for pointing that out 👀
@fiat-ventus Thanks for the comment! I'm sorry to hear about the issue, it didn't happen on our devices. What browser and screen size do you have?
@peachtreeoath Thanks a lot for the detailed comment. It's really nice to see people enjoy and understand all the little decisions you made, and your way of anylising them and explaining them makes it very clear and satysfying. Thank you again 💕
@clonze I think you are! My personal best is exactly the same 👏
@tyrannas Thank you so much! I admit I am a bit jealous of Blibloop (@dodidouda) too, she's really talented 💖
Edit: Aha! just beat it.

and again!

It took me a minute to figure out what to do, that would be my only suggestion is to give some hints to get started first.
Super jeu ! trop mimi, ça donne envie de jouer à plus de niveaux !
I was on my way to sub 100 but had some really rough slams
Constantly having to reassign everyone every time was a bit annoying, and I didn't realise you can pick up dropped resources with the mouse for a long time.
My first run was 250 years, and managed 132 on my second attempt.
My game was also about building a statue, but you did a better job of it. Having a team probably helped.
Very well made and polished game!
Wonderful game, enjoyed it much.
I'm sure I could do way better, I think the strat may be to ignore the every upgrade except the now pop one and move all the resources manually. I'll report back if it works out!

Very solid and almost relaxing jam game. Very cohesive art and music - almost feels like a complete game with nothing sticking out.
If you are into optimising, then the game can get a bit tedious to play. The optimal strategy seems to be to let the bunnies gather resourses and then immediately drag them back to the mine/lumbermill and manually drag the dropped resourses to the resourses area. If you do this, dragging is starting to get a bit too insane since you have to drag each and every resource manually. I do not know if this playstyle was intended but it if was, I would have preferred to collect dropped resourses by just clicking them. This way you could focus on micro managing bunnies and occasionally tap those resourses to collect them.
But overall, a very solid jam game. I can always appreaciate when jam games are designed to be completed in a jam setting like this one!
But it's still a bit annoying to have to grab so many times things (Especially when you have a lot of rabbits at the same place... but it's also strategic !)
I won't tryhard for the world record, but I had a really good time !

A bit cute, but the 10-seconds mechanic is a bit annoying. I didn't saw another game like that before, so that's cool.
Great work on this game!
I hope I'll find the time to play all of your games before rating period ends!

Thank you for the nice comments, each one means a lot to us 💖
@legolula Thanks a lot for the nice comment! I agree with you, we are thinking about a solution to the pain of gathering resources one by one in end game, we'll include it in a post jam update someday!
@jmad Thanks a lot! That's an impressive score 👀
@interface Thanks for the nice comment and the improvement suggestion! We'll take it into account if we do a post-jam version!
@urggann It's so nice that you could play it with your son 💌 Thanks a lot for the comment.
@cosmonautical That's indeed the best strat! We know only of two players that managed to get a sub 100 as of now, it's really really hard!
@shakedimus Thanks a lot for the detailed comment, it's really helpful! We agree with late game slams being a bit too much since you just cannot reassign everything, and thank you for pointing out what took you some time to understand! Making everything as intuitive as possible is always one of our goals, so we'll work on that if we do a post-jam version. Thanks again ✨
@someone Thanks for the detailed comment, it's nice to know what can be improved! I'll check your statue building game 🗿
@almost Thanks for the detailed feedback! I agree with you, we'll work on something to make late game poda less annoying if we do a post-jam vesion 🐼
@ruruie haha yes I hope so too 🐇
@nash Thanks a lot for the detailed comment! having only to click on resources instead of dragging them is a very good idea that we didn't even think about, so thanks a lot for that 💕
@kalendhos Thanks a lot for the comment! I agree with you, well have to think of something to make late game a bit less tedious. Your score is really great, great job 👀
@unitedfailures Thanks a lot! Your score is already really good, great job ✨
https://youtu.be/JWDRP3KwO-E

My other issue was that at the end of the game, it was really hard to pick up a specific object when there were many stacked near each other. Sometimes I'd grab a bunny that was doing a job instead of grabbing the resource. Maybe the resources could get moved off of the bunny path when they are dropped?
These were just annoyances though, they weren't deal breakers. I really enjoyed the game!
Played on my stream: https://www.twitch.tv/zedkraze
@benjamin @eager @kleinzach @runicpixels @asfdfdfd Thank you for the nice comment, each one means a lot to us 💖
@lepoulet Thank you so much, it means a lot coming from someone who made such a great game 💕 Not sure our bunnies are the same as yours though, considering your ending I guess they would have broken free of Poda's tyranny very quickly 🗡️
@erkberg Thanks a lot! It was really nice to see you stream, and thanks again for the very detailed feedback along with each grade!
@fuzzybut woooaaaw what the frick how did you do that ✨ I'm still stuck to 100 myself. Thanks a lot for the very nice comment and congrats, I don't know anyone who beat that yet.
@mateusboga Thanks a lot for playing it on stream, it was really cool to see you play ✨👀
@delpod thanks a lot, it's very nice to know that you enjoyed both way of playing the game since it was one of our design intentions!
@dannyk1994 Yaay thank you Dannyk, it was really fun to see you play and get into the game on stream!
@studiokraze I just watched the VOD, your comments were so nice thank you! Art is so slick indeed, @dodidouda did amazing work as always 💖
To answer some of your questions: We did other jam games only, but we never did full games (mobile or not) yet! I personally work on Blooming Business: Casino as a GPP, Blibloop (@dodidouda) is an independent artist and @zakku is currently working as QA in a small studio and as an independent sound designer! Also yes, we did all of that in three days, we started at around 9am on saturday with nothing reused (except some copy paste code for stuff like screenshake and audio management). Thanks again for the nice comments on your stream it was really nice to watch.
Pour un jeu fait en 72h, c'est très propre alors bravo
