Really liked the concept especially once I \"got it\" (after I missed my first piece of gold). There was patch of time where I was building up \"red zones\" I couldn't move into and I thought that concept was great. It's very simple but the mechanics really fits the theme. For a first try with Pico8 it's a really good start! Maybe you could make the music change a bit?
