My take on the classic "run from copies of yourself" mechanic.

It plays very cool! The game is more difficult than it seems at first glance. I couldn't beat game right now, but I'll definitely be back! The graphics are very nice, the music fits perfectly, the controls are very smooth.
Perhaps the game should have been simplified somehow, but I tend to just be inexperienced in this genre, haha!

Nice game! I was confused about what to do at first. I like the music

Very difficult, but feels good! Would have loved to have a countdown timer in the corner, but my internal clock did a pretty decent job in lieu of that
Love the past self concept, always good to see a fun take on it. Also love love the artstyle

Interesting game, and also an interesting take on the theme!

I did not have the skills to complete it, mostly the timing threw me off - some kind of visual indicator of the timings would be a nice quality of life feature.

I liked the past-self mechanics, they were interesting (though I seemed to collide a lot with them by miscalculating their spawning time). It definitely added to the chaos XD

I also liked the music and sound-design as well.

A solid entry!

Wow I think I like the mechanic not it's soo difficult. The most difficult part is to get the start correct. Like, you HAVE to start moving immediately. Maybe a starting grace period would make it a little easier.

This bug is very annoying. If you don't move immediately when a round begins, you will lose the entire run https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eZxzFypOdkU

Otherwise, great job at spinning the "record your past" trope, it's fun!

Had a real aha-moment when I figured out how to get past the first hurdle of getting the key to the first lock, which was cool! I haven't managed to finish it, but I really like the concept and think you absolutely nailed the theme of this jam. It's very hard though, maybe could've been made easier somehow. Nonetheless, really cool entry, definitely one of my favourites.

Thanks for the feedback everyone, having seen some of my friends play through the game I definitely agree that there is a finicky difficulty, especially due to moving after spawn (as pointed out by @alaah and @zimonitrome). In retrospect I think having the starting area be a safe zone would have gone a long way to making it better. Will have to remember to introduce regular play testers next LD

What. I can't figure out how to get the key to the first lock. Everyone else seems to have figured it out, so I guess I'm just stupid. :eyes:

YESS! I finally finished it after a little more than 1 and a half hour! Fuck yeah dude! Felt like a robot just going through the motions at the end.

I first though you'd had to stop, drop of, and continue slowly, but there was always some annoying old myself in the way. So I instead went with just speedrunning each part never dropping anything of. Which was really fun, and timed so exactly it was not place for any wiggle room.

Thanks for a really fun challenge!

The theme fits the game really well, and I felt surprise when I saw that I need to cooperate with my past, however I can't finish the game, and it is challenge for me;(

Nicely Done Bro. really nice concept and use of the 10 second theme. Would love to see this game developed further and released in a larger scale. Please do check out my submission as well.

This is a really hard game, but in the end it is pretty addicting.
The artwork and mood fits also very well.
I was also surprised when i saw, that i had to work with me together :D

Nice concept, fits very well with theme - I struggled to make much progress as found it pretty tough - would have loved a visual countdown on the timer but really enjoyed the experience :D

I love the this concept for the theme! Like others have noted, the game is pretty tough, and I would have loved to see some sort of timer in the game or safe zone to make it easier to follow along with. Still, great work!

It was fun to try! I tried about 10 times but I couldn't figure out how to make any progress, or what you meant by every second turn move the key. Seemed like an interesting puzzle to solve though!
