Including Esperanto, by the way XD Setting French; ah, I spot at least one mistake (\"s\u00e9l\u00e9ction\" instead of \"s\u00e9lection\") and some untranslated text (\"Disable keyboard cheats\", \"On\", \"Off\"); you can tell the people at Freedoom about it ;)\n4. some text presentation, a nice touch\n5. controls are layout-independent, great :) (I have an AZERTY keyboard). AND arrow keys are enabled\n6. some super classic *Doom* playability; boy, do we run fast!\n7. so fast actually, that I stumbled upon an enemy with my new-found bazooka and shot myself to my death (or doom :p)\n8. won in 1 min 5 s (in medium difficulty); ah, game restarts, but you keep your state (weapons, ammunition and health)\n9. looking at autosave: cute, \"ARENA00 - Thanks for playing!\" ;)\n10. second try: ah, some new enemies towards the end (flying ones); won in 1 min 15 s\n11. now trying in max difficulty (\"MAYHEM!\")\n12. made it on my first attempt (could not see time, I toggled focuse with Alt + Tab, and Alt makes the screen go to the next! :o)\n\n**Takeaway:** a bit hard to judge gameplay since this is mainly *Doom*, after all! So, for the rest: I think the take on the theme is classic, but does work; some more variety, such as a change in the arena\u2019s structure (every ten seconds? Or more), could give more longer-term interest to the game. It does already work as a simple straightfoward outlet for some quick action, though, but it looks like the enemies and weapons stay (about?) the same each time\/run; maybe some *randomisation* would already be an option for surprising the player.\n\nThanks for the gratuitous (virtual!) violence.
