made by slam-nine for Ludum Dare 51 (JAM)

A quick little gardening game for LD51 jam! Grow your plants, while whacking the moles that are trying to steal your precious tomatoes. The plant growth cycle is 10 seconds, so try to water your seeds and fertilize your sprouts before a new day dawns to maximize your profits.

How to play:

-Click on the seed pile to select it, and then click on empty patches to plant the seeds.

-Select the watering can and water your seeds.

-Wait for the seeds to sprout.

-Fertilize your sprouts with the bottle selected to get more points from your harvest.

-Wait for the sprouts to mature, and collect them with the basket selected. (Don't wait too long, or the plants will die.)

-Bonk those moles with the hammer selected, or they will eat your plants.

Very stressfull, but I love the idea of multiple mechanics!
Low-poly brings vibes, well done!

I like the mechanics! But the way to play is a bit confusing, for example I usually forget which tool is on my hand.

Looks really nice, but the controls are a bit confusing. Also, I think the moles might be better if they were staggered and a little slower.

I like the idea, but I feel it's either a bit too fast or missing "helpers" like select items with your keyboard or bigger hitboxes for stuff. Also the music could loop better.

Other than that, I like the idea and I got the hang of it pretty quick. GJ

I had this error: "Unable to parse Build/finalbuild3.framework.js.unityweb! The file is corrupt, or compression was misconfigured? (check Content-Encoding HTTP Response Header on web server)"

The soundtrack is deceptively calm for such an intense game, haha! It's a nice track, just a bit repetitive. A handful of simple sound effects would give it all a lot of life. Love the low-poly visuals and lighting! I feel bad crushing such adorable moles, heheh.
I think the gameplay was unintuitive at first, even though I did figure it out. It might have benefitted from the tool you're using appearing at the cursor or something, just to make it extra obvious that's what you're doing.
It's a solid concept, and you should be happy!
