Great game! The mechanics were quite intuitive (the tooltips and log-thing really helps!). All the flavour was funny and great! The only mechanic I would challenge is that you have to press Z to invite a frog, I think they could just show up uninvited. That way, you would have to use the abilities of strategically placed frogs like the viking frog to make room for another dangerous frog or something. Other than that I think this game is golden.

Well done!

This was awesome! I briefly thought about a Party House-style game but decided against it, but I'm so happy someone did it. I beat it in 19 days on my first attempt, partially due to the sacrifrog upgrade. Being able to kick out all my basic +1 frogs very efficiently with just a viking frog and a frogue really helped my economy. If anything were to be added I would love some sort of shop reroll functionality, because as it was I was just not seeing the frogs I would want to add, and so I was left with a lot of empty space (which completely removes the randomness, as I know I will draw my whole deck).

But good presentation, good gameplay, and overall very impressive for a compo entry!

I think I spent at least 45 minutes playing this game—it's that captivating! 🕹️ I've saved it and definitely plan to play more once the rating period is over. Well done! The balance is just right.

I came to see your frogs game. Unfortunately, I am on a Mac and can't play Windows games. Thank you for reviewing mine, Though. If I can find a Windows computer, I'll try to run yours as well.

That's what I call game design. Very well thought of game. What were your inspiration?

@dhim I sadly don't have a mac machine to test it so no guarantee it will work, but I tried making a mac build, let me know if it works, so I can delete it if it doesn't :D

My Mac says FrogParty is damaged and moves it to the trash can. Sorry

I really really really like frogs. What a perfect creature to choose for your game +_+ I really like all their designs. The puzzle-y idea behind the gameplay is cool too! I was a bit stumbling through it but I like the concept :3

I loved the strategic depth and the various tactics that the cards enabled. The balancing wasn't perfect (shopafrogaholic was very OP) and I couldn't figure out how to use the frog sacrifice upgrade, but otherwise it seemed quite polished and coherent overall. The froggy theme was the cherry on top.

Loved the graphics and the music. Great game design as well - the game play loop was really tight. It burrowed it's way into my head and just hung out for a while, and the longer I played it the more cool strategies I managed to figure out to get more mana. After a few false starts managed to get the W on the last day. Amazing game :)

This was well made and had fun frog graphics. I think the design not having the late game resource that games like Party House and Dominion traditionally have that you have to pivot towards made the late game a bit too easy.

great deck builder ngl!! Love the main flow of the game. but it quite challenging (that's good) to collect 200 mana =D coz angry frogs keep ruining my parties xD

I loved this one! Such a slick, well built deck builder. Something about the dark, almost retro UI with the adorable frog illustrations really sold it for me. I built a lean, mean deck full of vikings and assassins, and trimmed any and all fat. Plus, had a nice celebration going with music and singing and party frogs getting on the dance floor. Enjoyed every second of it. Great entry!

I didn't pay attention at first and ruined the the party a few times, but then I steered clear of any additional dangerous frogs. Playing it safe worked out well in the end.
You made a great deck-building game here! Only thing I was missing was being able to spend coins to remove cards.
Also very cute art :)

Had a beautifully chill time with your game on my stream :)

I didn't even knew I liked this genre until I played your game or maybe this frog party in just special :frog:
which it is!

great title and art. I was surprised at how many different frog types there were, at some point I stopped reading the descriptions each time I got to the shop and just bought whichever one I could afford. I feel like lighting up the tiles around dangerous frogs could have been a little helpful, and the scoring effects could have been a little more exaggerated. overall, it was fun and the amount of depth was impressive.
