The way these lil slimes move is very charming. I liked that each generation was a different color, it made me want to keep feeding the newest generation to see what color their offspring would be.

There is something tremendously satisfying about leading these little guys around and making them grow. Really chill little experience!

Very cool game, love the sound design when the cubes separate themselves.
I wish there was an incentive to place the food in other places to avoid the player spamming left click in one place.
Great work for 8 hours and lots of potential!

This was cute, good game feel on the multiplication. I kinda wish there was a bit more to it, like as an example maybe feeding them different colors of food to determine the way their colors mix etc. and being able to create a collection of unique colors. I understand it probably wasn't possible to do more in 8 hours tho so nicely done either way!

The sound design was great! Eventually I amassed an army of slime cubes and they started getting stuck or hungry or something with big target markers, which was a little sad. But I had so many cubes! It was more rewarding but a similar feeling to sprinkling food for a goldfish. Nice work!

Simple and effective - incredible work for 8 hours! Shocking how engaging it was given the fact that you're only one thing the whole time, and the whole effect was very peaceful and relaxing. It wasn't clear at first what the goal was, but it quickly became apparent with minimal explanation, which isn't easy. The music and sound really worked for the feel as well. Would have enjoyed being able to mousewheel to zoom in and out, but that's a big ask for such a short timeline.
Great work, especially given the time spent on it!

Very cute and I like the art style. Making a 3D game is always extra impressive and doing this in 8 hours. Wow. Well done.

I think that being the game made in 8 hours it's pretty well polished, it feels extremely different this way having the cubes move like jelly than if they would move without any effect added; Obviously doesn't have much gameplay, but even with that I would say I enjoyed it

For some reason I can't rate this game but I discovered that after playing so here's my feedback anyway :)

Never tought I could get this invested in feeding colored cubes. At first I though they were immortals but then I discovered the ominous red cross. Sorry little cubes I won't be able to save your from the cross forever, but it was nice while it lasted :D

On a more technical note. I like what you did with the animation of the cubes, they do feel like some blobs alive, well done !

Nature is healing. Very relaxing feeding the cubes and watching them multiply.

That's very well thought of to have a full experience in such a little time, well played! Obvious take on the theme that I haven't seen much yet, but very very well executed. Sometime simplicity is a quality in itself!

Very relaxing and fun to raise the little cubes! We've done something similar (in regards to feeding and multiplying), but in 2D. Lovely music and sound effects, great experience!

Surprisingly fun to just sit back and guide my colony around. a few times they di go off the screen or under rocks so it was hard to see or feed them but that's part of the challenge. It was interesting to go from just one to 20. I found the that when they split they looked a bit small but I liked how they seemed to sometimes inherit traits from their parents (even though I would have liked this to be a bit stronger).

I also found that when too many were in the same area they paused.

very nice game! Could be quite an interesting idea with further development. I really like the animations to the creatures, i've been trying to learn to animate in style but i don't even know where to start :))

Oh wow you're an exceptional person! 8 hours! Opted out of ratings! Whoa! Yeah there's not much to this as a "game", but it feels excellent, is adorable, the split resetting sizes is fun, and... Well yeah these are cool things. If only there were more!

It's such a cute little game, I like simulations like that and very nice music loop too! It's funny when the creatures are kinda "stuck" between two crumbs, deciding which one is closer :D Nice one!

Worth keep developing in my opinion. Maybe some non stressful task here and there?

This seems like a neat mechanic that could be used in the scope of a larger game. Good work on it.

Cozy is the word! It's really nice to see that you worked so much with game feel. I think it shows how much it really matters! Even if this game maybe has no clear goal it's still fun to play around with.

Would've liked to be able to zoom in and maybe tilt the camera a bit. I think it could create some cool views over your society of creatures. Amazing work! :sparkles:
