Genuinely impressive for a game made in around 3 days! I loved the art style, and the jokes were a bit silly. Feels really polished! Love it!

An absolute masterpiece! This has so much polish! The art, the writing, the design, the little transitions and format of a news broadcast, all utterly wonderfully done! The gameplay itself was simple but effective, and ramped up in difficulty nicely, though I unfortunately diodn't get round to finishing it (got the catapult bit). Truly amazing work, folks!

A pleasant and incredibly atmospheric game! I got to the end and was satisfied. The game really draws you in and makes you read the news further, and of course replayed levels if failed:)

That cat was truly nightmareish. Lingering on them might have lasting effects on my mental health. 10/10

Great work! I especially liked its humour and art style.

I couldn't get past the catapult level, either, though, I'll try this game later again.

Content de voir que des français on fait le meilleur jeu de cette jam c'est dingue!!! Les graphismes sont trop cool, le gameplay est aussi polish qu'un jeu full release et l'humour marche. Tout ça en 3 jours un gros GG a vous.

Wow, what a clean graphics. I really liked it. After the credits rolled out, I thought it was over but breaking news from LDTV said it ain't  . And really good gameplay.

You folks knew you had good art and boy did you capitalize on it. Amazing looking game, feels very polished and clean. Gorgeous artwork, the motion and actions of the finger are really well animated and feel very satisfying. I also loved all the little cameo creatures, I know I saw the godot head and I think that is the default unity cube in there. Quite fun with great sense of humour

As for improvements, I think the only thing I would recommend would be clarity. I knew I probably wasnt supposed to let the dust clouds finishe what they were doing, but I didnt know what it was that they were trying to do. I knew I should answer my moms phone call, but I didnt really understand why (other than the fact I love my mom, of course).

All in all very impressive for a 72 hour game!!

So well presented! I love all the personality squeezed out of every inch of the game. The UI, audio, graphics, writing, UX all felt top notch.
Smashing the tiny creatures feels very satisfying.
Great entry.

Wow, what an entry! Great interpretation of the theme, beautiful art, made me laugh, the way you built up the mechanics and the intensity of the game was flawless. Everything you want a jam game to be, no notes.

Really cool take on the theme, it's fun and original. It's really funny and beautiful. Gameplay works and is fun. It's not very clear what's going to make you loose or not before it happens, tho it's not too much of an issue given the mood of the game. The game clearly achieves perfectly what it's made to be, congrats!

Uhh additional feedback tho, why does the name and thumbnail have nothing to see with the actual game? Maybe I'm missing something cause I'm confused. In game it's Tricky LD creators with cute creatures, here it's mini beaker with a poker coin or something like that.

@yorsh The game name is part of the joke of hiding a second game behind the first.

The first time you launch the game (assuming you don't have a save file), the main menu is greenish and the title is Mini Beaker (a beaker is some kind of petry dish. As non english speaker we didn't realize most people didn't know the word). Basically it's the title screen for the "lab intro" part of the game, as well as the game we describe in the ludum page. After you see the fake credits, and reach the actual game, the main menu changes to reflect the actual game and actual name.

We probably didn't make it obvious enough as most people don't notice 😅

Almost got tricked and close the game after the first credits, glad I didn't.
Started off fairly easy and ended pretty hard at the last level. Good job.

@justine-d Ah yeah makes sense then! Tbh I didn't pay attention to the game's name and the thumbnail before playing, I picked it randomly. It's probably the case for most players given the format, not sure you can really do something about it. Good thing is that the early credit joke works just fine either way imo.

Now something that could be more annoying for you is that no one's gonna recognise the fake name afterwards. I mean if people are looking for it on itch, or some content creator checking LD's winners, things like that. Would probably have been better to have a name the work with the joke and is recognizable.

Really polished well done team! I loved that the method of destroying the virus was to squash it with your giant finger ofc, if only I had a giant finger to squash all my problems. The mechanics really work well together along with the cute art and sound design, great fun! Plus good humour!

It would be good to see an in world 'de-motivator bar/mechanic' as it seemed a bit of a random click as to how it was de-motivating the creatures exactly. Fun cheers!

Top quality entry, so glad I played blind without reading comments! I saw your team was pretty big but I am still very impressed. The initial theme really had me convinced I knew what it was about, and then- nope! The only shame there was that the design for the scientist lady is adorable!

Quality stuff! And pretty darn challenging! Well done.

Oh my. By far the best game I've played of this LD yet. Everything is on point. The game is fun, jokes are good, the art style is very cute... I agree with James Tanm that just a tiny bit more explanations on new stuff would have been good, but besides that, it's perfect. Congratulation, great job!

That was brilliant! So glad I went in fully blind, the humour completely caught me and tickled me in all the best ways. The segments between levels were genius, had an absolute blast. The final level had the perfect sense of stress and difficulty but also felt fair and balanced. Brilliant work!

I was surprised at the storyline, it served the gameplay well while keeping players on their toes. There were a few minor spelling typos in the first half of the game, but nothing major. The audio is really well done to hear the gravity of actions. It sounds like you did a great job organizing a project with so many people too, I think the game design was a good choice for being able to work on sections of the game and have it connect together at the end.
