Platforming felt pretty good and the art is neat. It didn't make much sense though that you die or respawn from falling somewhere if thats where you are supposed to go later after passing some checkpoint.

The art and animations are great! The overall view is a bit small, so hard to keep moving at a steady pace.

Very cool and polished little platformer! The small puzzles with your bag are fun too. You could probably get rather elaborate with those if you were to make a full game out of this.

One thing that kept interrupting me so to speak was that you always leave your bag in front of you, more often than not kicking it into the abyss right after dropping it xD

Really nice mood and graphics! The dark effect around the edge of the screen made it a bit tough to see platforms at times. I really liked the bit of puzzle mixed with platforming, fun game!

Really nice artwork and the music fit well, the concept is also pretty funny

Sometimes in the game it's hard to tell if a pit is a kill pit or if you can drop down to a lower area, maybe some better indication for that would've made it smoother, otherwise really nice

Dialogue's were great and loved the death animation it was simple but impactful. Needs visual effects and better sound effects to enhance feedback. Great experience overall!

Really nice entry, nice artwork, and nice Bgm. But the SFX for the jump make me a little bit dizzy. I like the idea about (not 100% sure on this part) the Death don't fear death. Using death to come back with a better position.

And your entry is quite short with me, don't feel satisfied yet. I expect something more in the end.

My only issue is that I use 60% keyboard, so I have no arrows... its was a pain everytime I needed to jump, needed some extra buttons hahahahaha

I think it's important to note that the music wasn't actually created by me though; it was a robot that did it for me (:stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:), so if you're interested in where it is and how the flip an AI created it, I've got the answer to one of those questions! I generated it at Ecrett Music (https://ecrettmusic.com/play), the place I go when I've run out of time to compose something!

I got stuck after the bag told me to put it somewhere comfortable.

The art is awesome, and the bag/jump-hover mechanic is a really cool- with how its incorporated into the puzzle! The music is so chill too =~=

@ravarion Ah, dang it, I was worried about that (:sweat_smile:)! The solution to the puzzle is simple when you look at it from a distance, but after having crafted it, I realized the platform you need to go to is on an area of ground you can't see without taking a leap of faith... What you're supposed to do is place the sack onto the bridge thats extending from the wall and make your way down and back underneath the bridge to drop it back into your possesion; therefore allowing you to continue onwards with the bag in hand! After realizing the platform the bag is supposed to drop onto is off-screen, I decided instead of re-tiling that section I would put a *slightly* obvious arrow under the bridge to key you in that there's something under it. It wasn't the *best* solution, because I knew for a fact some people would miss it entirely, but after having put colliders onto all of the landmasses I thought I'd take the lazy way out! :laughing:

Cute little puzzle-platformer with great pixel art and funny quips from the bag man. I found some of the navigation to be very trial-and-error, where sometimes if fall off a ledge I die instantly, and other times it's the correct path. But with the generous respawn points there was very little risk! Really nice work, best puzzle-platformer I've played in this jam so far!

I feel like the theme doesn't fit the game well. But ignoring that, this is a good short puzzle platformer. Couple things were kinda unclear and risky such as leaving the sack on a platform so you can press a button on the other side. Then the button happens to trigger that platform dropping the sack below to progress.

aw! great little game! loved the style of everything. The lofi tune while going through the funny dialog. I was ready to get in a battle, rage building up for 25 mins that's a recipe for a epic battle :laughing: wholesome little messages at the end were really nice as well. Great Job!


Great dialogue / story/ humor xD -played it all the way through to the end! One bug I found (i think it was a bug) is that you can exploit the jump hover and pick up the sack while in air to hover while carrying the sack. Anyway, really fun idea and concept! -carrying around the other character and using them as a weight to solve puzzles lmao -brilliant idea making them also be your check point though -really cool/creative!! Also, liked the art a lot -the reaper's sprite was great and really liked the art down at the bottom of the world! Music was really nice too -excellent work on this!! :D

one of the best dialogs i've seen in this jam. Most people disregard them but theese are nice. Nice puzzles although i think i skiped one haha. Good job!

Great game. The grim reaper looks and moves great, the platforming is solid, puzzles are fun and the humor was over the top. The only thing that bothered me was not being able to use the W key to jump so i couldn't use the WASD keys only. The game is perfectly on theme, nobody said you have to make a farming simulator.

pretty fun platformer with some charming text, If you plan on making a post-jam version, you should totally make puzzles that require you to drop then catch the bag fella or even use them as a platform to reach slightly higher ledges!

one of the best main characters I seem so far. It's hard to make such a common character (Death), look good and unique. Well done.

Really fantastic! The movement was often a bit buggy, but the main mechanic was solid and led to some interesting puzzles. Those puzzles were made much clearer whenever there were identifying features in the level to hold on to, but obviously making unique art this gorgeous for the length of this entire game would be impossible. Also, of course, it was funny and the story is interesting though I'm not really sure if I 'got' it.

Very nice entry. Love the character design, with fun puzzle platforming and writing.

The graphics on this were cool and I liked the dialog. The platforming took a little bit to get used to but once I got the hang of it the puzzle aspect was more enjoyable. Overall great work!

I absolutely love this game! It's got great graphics, sound, and controls. It even throws in a bit of humor from the guy in the bag, which I found pretty entertaining. My only complaint is that it isn't longer XD

Great job it has awesome mood, feel when playing and visuals. It was also good at resetting me when I messed up which I did alot and knowing when I needed a reset. Having the guy in the bag to offer dialogue throughout also made things more engaging. At times it was hard to see if a path should be taken as you could see far perhaps it would be nice if you could stop the character and move the camera around just a little to see what's around. Overall I loved it nice work dude.
