Limited Space Targets by TomPendergrass

[raw]
made by TomPendergrass for Ludum Dare 54 (JAM)

I forced myself to use Godot instead of Unity for this project. I learned a massive amount by cramming in a bunch of teachings in the past 2 days!

Session2.gif I marked this as a casual entry as I barely stuck to the theme. I still have a lot to learn in order to get the most of it. Check out the result!

Some great music and lighting effects in this game! Also nice particle shattering when the targets break.
I was able to see outside of bounds in a couple places and some of the energy blasts went through targets without breaking them if I was too far away, but other than that I didn't see any bugs.
Great job on learning Godot in such a short time frame! Personally the level of detail in the level design like the patterns in the walls was really impressive. I enjoyed the multitude of rooms to go through too. Can't wait to see what your next Godot entry turns into !

Not too shabby at all considering you were also learning Godot at the same time as the jam! Sound fx, music and level design were all great! I found myself replaying the game multiple times to beat my previous score.

Not bad , as I see u were mainly focusing on level design and pace of a game. Nice work

Firstly, I like that the engine was able to package the game into a single launch file. I use Unity and I’m not sure that it’s possible to achieve this on it (when published, the game consists of many files). Secondly, I want to say that you have created a very cool game in such a short amount of time. I would definitely like to play the full version. Let me know if you decide to finish. Oh yes, I can't rate your game - it's a shame

Awesome to see a Godot project! I'm considering switching to Godot myself due to the Unity blunder. Keep up the gat work! I enjoyed the music and the textures.
