I love Vampire Survivors so I love this game too! The bombs with the destructible floor make it challenging and fun, the Timer gives you a reason to play again to get further. The graphics are cute!

The projectiles you fire could've been a bit faster I feel. Audio is missing I think (?) but I don't think it's a big deal honestly, fun game

Not Bad! Cute Graphics and theme implement are great but the character only shoot left and right and it makes the game harder than I thought.

@riesyeti thank you for your feedback! Yes the sound is missing sadly, I would've loved to add some music and sfx, but we could not get to it in time! :c

We wanted to chase the somewhat clunky feeling that vampire survivors has with its attack animations, so we left it at left and right. At a future revision I would've considered beingable to shoot in more directions, but it is what it is for now!

Graphics are simple yet really funny and have good mood. I also really like the name of your game. Good job!

You need a key to hold down shooting direction like holocure and also kinda lacking music really hurt the game so bad. Gameplay wise, you have done great, you have objective but kinda forgot the gameplay loop. I had to close and reopen the game. I hope you guys can do better next time or ask for someone with music taste to make music for you. I am very happy to see a decent working game. tldr, I have 3 disappointments: the loop(I did my game alone from java IDE and have proper loop), music(I made my own), control(if you want to copy or learn something, gotta do the whole package)

I love the idea of destructible level in the game where movement is an essential mechanic. Though, I expected that my projectiles would fire in enemies' direction so my runs were kinda short :slight_smile:

@mindhijacker thank you very much for the feedback! Yes I now also feel that a 360 ish shooting direction might've been better, but due to the inspiration from vampire survivors.. and lack of time, we didnt implement it.
We also had more ideas for units, upgrades, auras, but werent able to implement them sadly..
Oh and yes, I wouldve loved to make music for it if we had the time for it. Or any sfx really.. it would pop way more and make it a lot more polished!

The game was rather barren, besides the pixel art (which was pretty good), the lack of music really drags this game down as well as if you press spacebar too many times the player can no longer fire projectiles :(

@its-capp thank you for your feedback.. yeah I sat way too long on those sprites, which many of which we couldnt even use since the system weren't ready for it... quite went out of our scope I feel.. I would've loved to add sfx and music especially for this game! :c

Feel sad that I can only automatically shoot the front :sob: And it will not prevent me from moving into the destroyed tile.

I think the core of vampire-survivors-like is the experience ball and level-ups, not the automatically attacking. Maybe you can try vampire-survivors-like while using top-down shooting controller. :smiley:

Love this inverse bullett hell type game, reminds me of Vampire Survivor and ive put a lot of time into that game so i killed a lot of time with this as you can imagine. Great game.

When i pressed space it gave an incredible firerate. Love the animation, good art, nice idea. It really lacks of a gameover so that we can replay the game. Good job

It looks funny. I didn't figure out the controls and the purpose of the game.

i wish you could jump over corners cuz if you locked yourself inside an enclosed space you're done for good :(

@dioinecail Oh yeah we also feel this very hard! Any type of being able to cross those gaps is really hard right now. We're also looking for a solution on this one as we will further revise this game!

Love the concept and character designs. The player's shooting animation is very fun. Not sure how well the vampire survivors style clunk goes with attacks that can kill you instantly though. Definitely a cool idea!

I had a lot of fun with this game. The vampire survivors gameplay style is a lot of fun to play with, and I love to see more games making use of it. The grass texture was a little hard on the eyes, and the lack of sound was a little jarring. However, the level up system was great, and having enemies destroy the ground was a great use of the theme. Plus, the slime and enemy sprites are ADORABLE. Wonderful and cozy experience. Thank you for letting us play it!

Solid game, would have loved some audio since it felt a bit empty without it. It was also a little difficult to aim & move in diagonals across empty space which might be by design but perhaps having aim on mouse cursor and easier diagonal traversal would expand gameplay.
