AIMG by Gravity Games
Welcome to the world of Another Indie Metroidvania Game! A knight has discovered a strange cave and decides to investigate. I didn't get even close to finished, so this is mostly just a proof of concept/engine test that I'm submitting for feedback, mostly on graphics. As such, rather than hiding upgrades around the map (far too small in it's current state to do that), you will obtain them all upon getting the power suit. If this feels like the sort of thing you'd like to see expanded with story and such, please let me know!
Controls:
Move - Arrow Keys
Jump - Z
Shoot - X
Latch onto walls (with power suit) - C
Dash (with power suit) - S
Special Thanks: Sebastian Lague and his wonderful Youtube tutorial series and GitHub repository for his platformer tutorial. It was of great help to the development of this game! https://github.com/SebLague/2DPlatformer-Tutorial
Per and his great procedural music generator. With it, I was able to quickly generate the music for this game. I would have manually remixed it, but unfortunately OpenMPT was giving me problems, so I had to use an online MIDI to MP3 converter instead. http://ludumdare.com/compo/2013/02/19/procedural-music-generator/
Solmire.com, the website I used to convert the MIDI to MP3.
If you like this game, be sure to check out my others I've submitted to past Ludum Dares and check out my Twitter at https://twitter.com/ImpossibleRealm !

That being said I love the graphics and the feel of the game, I would love to play more of it.
Oh, and I think I can recognize that tune from one of my old LD game.. :P (here's link if you want to take a look http://ludumdare.com/compo/ludum-dare-32/?action=preview&uid=45010)
@edve98 Wow, it does seem to be the same song, I wonder why the generator generated the same song twice, perhaps we both entered in the same name as the seed?
Can you add your game on indiexpo.net ? (it's free)
So we can include also your game in the video ;)
p.s. write #LDJAM in the game's description.
