Rain Sleet Zombies by LDJam user 336676
Rain Sleet Zombies, my first entry into any GameJam ever, Such a learning experiance.
You are a delivery person delivering your final package, the zombie cure, you must get it from your crashed truck to the convoy past the park.
simple controls, WASD moves, Left shift to sprint, left click attacks, right click heavy once you have that item - the zombies will speed up the longer they are alive but don't prioritize killing over advancing - there are three five HP permanent increases across the map, taking you from 10hp - 25hp. - there is a second weapon as well that one shots the zombies located on the map.

Congrats on completing your first jam game!
edit: also thank you, it was a ton of fun.
The ambiance, music, and sound effects are all amazing, and really add to the overall atmosphere. Those slow zombies were quite amusing, although things got a bit more intense when they started running like professional athletes
I had a good laugh at that! All in all, I had a lot of fun playing your game. You did a great job!

edit: and to the anonymous, eh it is what it is
@tinykidtoo it was supposed to be dungeon crawler esc, no matter what way you go though there should be a boost of some kind (though I noticed one of the HP boosts is broken) Left, Up, Right, up, Left across the park, up, left up are the directions. There is a one hit power weapon directly opposite spawn, that one shots zombies
@jminor thanks the fog was a last minute addition for ambiance.
One risk with games like this is that I almost never know where to go. The instruction of "across town" doesn't really help me that much, and I find the fixed camera angle makes it difficult to see what directions might be promising. Consider using some kind of lighting or signage for a diagetic/in-world direction for player to go, unless exploration is key part of the gameplay.

I liked the music and the graphics were decent. I like that the zombies come running if you ignore them. :D Caught me off guard at first. It was a bit too hard for me but I'm not very good at these types of games. xD
Overall it's a good entry!
@svenerik thanks for playing , yeah i don't know how the walk speed worked out like that but usually by the time i hit the first intersection it feels good
+ The fast zombies were interesting, but the way you take damage when you touch them not so much. I think it could be pretty satisfying if you could dodge the super fast zombies without taking damage and watch them go zoom past you.
@wouter52 fun is the important part of it all  I did intend to add an arrow that would point you in a direction towards the end but ran out of time, a lot of people got lost I think lol
@fargred thank you, I've dabbled once or twice with unity in the past but nothing near this complex.
@blue-pin-studio Im already super excited for Septembers jam :exclamation:
@ellaris the original plan was to have the character look at the mouse position but i freaked out because the camera was also attached to the player so it would just spin endlessly, If i had just used an empty object and put the player inside it I could have fixed that but hindsight is 2020, the damage works on a timer, the first hit is immediate and then every ... 5 (i think) seconds you take another hit.
@wevel the webGL was a literal last minute addition and broke a few things that are set up in the zipped version, camera scale and UI scale chief among them.
