Dev Notes

This is a simple drone dispatch game which was going to be more graphical but I was coding without a mouse while selling books at a convention so I peeled back to a text interface and I really like the vibe I got with it. It's not balanced but the game does have an end, how fast can you deliver the packages. I also finished logic to make sure it is always possible to finish the random deliveries with the drones generated.

All controls are with arrow keys + ctrl and some text commands. Defo an idea I want to explore more in the future but not with a text interface. Still love the text ui vibe.

Very Confusing, hard to understand controls and game. A tutorial could be useful :/

This definitely needs a tutorial or something, I didn't really know what I was doing at all!

hehe yeah fair, I had no time to balance let alone write an in game tutorial I'll add some text to the description. I thought the side bar text was enough clearly not.

This is sick! Love terminal based games and ascii art. I wish there was more to discover and little stories and stuff! Nice entry :)

Love the terminal style games and having to put in command codes, so much fun and makes me feel so badass! Great game!

It took me a minute to figure out, but it was so cool! I love the packing mechanic and visual, and something about typing commands to control an army of delivery drones is just so satisfying.

Very cool game! I love the terminal style with ascii art. It was a bit confusing at first, but with the instructions on the jam page and some poking around I was able to get the hang of it. Except for unselecting a package. It seemed like once I had chosen one to try to load onto the drone, I was kinda stuck with it. Maybe I just couldn't find the 'de-select' key. Other than that small issue I thought this was awesome! Great work!!!

I really like the style of this game. I'm assuming the upgrade and next day commands are planned features that aren't implemented?

The game is not intuitive at all, and I couldn't figure out what I needed to do. Moreover, I wouldn't say that the gameplay was particularly engaging...

Great game! Ranked humour for those 20 minutes of struggling before I read any instructions

I didn't immediately understand what to do. But as soon as I figured it out, I liked it. I didn't understand what to do if you try to stuff more packages into the drone than it climbs into, how to cancel?
