Sorry for mis-recognizing the title as [furry], maybe because of the imagery of fangs

Impressive visuals!

The fangs icon is a useful hint since the movements are not very easy to recognize since it's dark and lowpoly. But maybe it made the game too easy. If there are like four kinds of signs with different countermeasures, and making some kind of fighting rhythm... personal thoughts LOL. I always want to make rhythm games.

Impressive visuals including animations. Nice fighting system with dodges, reminds me of something like batman asylum? The gameplay loop would need some refining, running back to dracula got old pretty fast. Also not sure what's the end goal is? And what do levels do? I got level up but I think nothing changes (also coulnd't find exp points required to advance)

quite enjoyable for a while. I liked the character designs of the two vampires! there's a clear goal in mind of bringing the blood to Dracula but when I level up I'm not exactly sure what stats are being changed.
all in all a solid entry.

This was really fun. I really like your art style and the jug of blood on the back is a nice touch

Impressive art! The gameplay is very fun, the experience of battle is really good, especially the dodge action. I think the speed of walking is too slow, is there a way to make it faster? Very good game!

The graphics for the game are very polished and I especially like the lighting in the game as well as the title logo design. It honestly feels like a game that should be getting more ratings! I'm not sure if there was something wrong with the emulator or if sound wasn't included on purpose but that would be the next thing I would love to have implemented in this game if you are planning on updating it in the future :)

I like the idea, but you feel so slooow. Once I figured out what rightclick does I kept just rolling around since it is faster. The animations for attacking and dodging feel very good and the indicators work well too!

I've seen quite a few Unity games here playing at the wrong resolution, but yours fits perfectly without any scrollbars at the side. How did you achieve this? I had problems with that too, so I'd appreciate a hint.

The visuals is overall pretty good, the game idea is simple and fun. Too bad there is not sound. But overall I will say it's a pretty well made compo game. Well done.

This game looks so good and well-polished! I don't think I had any sound when I played. The animations are all well done too and the theme is on point too!

Hi @floke I had to make some changes in the html generated by unity to accomplish this. Basically I change the canvas size to 100% and removed other elements from page.
You can see the final html source code here: https://github.com/rdenubila/ldjam53/blob/main/build/index.html

Very interesting take on the theme! And your graphic looks very nice. Your game could use some sound for a better ambient :-)

I delivered a lot of blood and kept leveling up but I can't really tell what good leveling up does me besides restoring my health. Also doesn't seem like there's a way to win the game? And the game's pretty easy so I eventually just kind of stopped playing.

The buildings and street designs are cool, creates a nice gothic-y atmosphere. Particularly like the designs of the vampire hunters!

This is awesome work for a compo game! Excellent job! If you continue post-compo, some more gore / blood etc is always a bonus, and some sounds / music

Great animation and character design.

It'd be cool to see an Itch.io version that can go fullscreen, the LD player kept losing the mouse and triggering the context menu :imp:
