Fridge Floppers by Split82
About
Fridge Floppers is a physics platformer game where you try to deliver a fridge into a van. You control left / right movement of two characters at the same time, but each character can jump individually.

Controls
- Left and Right arrows - move
- Q - left character jump
- W - Right character jump
Made in
Unity, Adobe Photoshop, Cubase, FBXR, Audacity, Visual Studio Code
Build vs Itch.io
I put a slightly easier version on itch.io. Few physics constants are tweaked a bit there. If you want a bigger challenge, download the executable for windows :)

It's very polished game. I impressed!
Physics balancing games often feels clunky but this is not the case at all! When the fridge fell down it felt like my fault not physics or controls fault. So I managed to make it to the end without being frustrated :) And on top of that - it was fun! Thanks, great entry!
This was an amazing game and great use of the time allocated and of the theme as well!
I think the only thing I'd change is I'd consider having the fridge start on the platform at the start of the level (rather than in the air). I lost many times immediately because I moved too quickly and the fridge just flew off. Keeping with fail-fast I think it'd be better to avoid having this happen so players can start a level the moment after it starts.
EDIT: Came back to it and gave it another go and got to the end this time!
No but really, for such a simply concept the execution was amazing. I think level 3 was a wake-up call for me, and I've restarted it more than a dozen times until I found the best way to handle simple steps and slopes. I remember myself being pretty proud of it... until I progressed just a bit further T_T
Cute. Brutal, but cute.
And, most important, after moving apartments each year, CAN RELATE :)
The game plays great and this is so much fun to figure the physics to pass levels.
In general one of the best Compo submisions so far. Good job!
Btw, Beat Saber is my fav game on VR :)
The idea was so simple but executed really well, the physics had just enough give and difficulty that I had a lot of fun with them. The puzzles as well had a really nice progression to them, my only complaint would be that it was shorter than I would have liked! If I had more levels like that last one, with that difficulty, perfect.
The graphics were also really well done. Again so simple, but it read super clearly. I love the little details of polish too. The animations, the squish, the eyes following the box. Only thing that was missing was a soundtrack to annoy the hell out of me as I struggled.
Overall I am absolutely in love with this, it's fantastic. I played it on call with a friend and honestly we were cheering from fun, great work.
Here is my playthrough:

The music and sounds are very fitting too.
The fact you've made it almost instantly re-playable when you fail is a BIG win here.
nice job! This was so cool to play ! :D
The stages require a certain strategy to conquer, which really stimulates the brain.
When I manage to get it right, I can reach the goal very quickly, so this game seems perfect for intense speedrunning :)
