Fun arcade game! You captured the beach atmosphere really well, and the risk-reward of attracting a bunch of buisness but risking a cascade of angry customers with no escape route is really fun, and also leads to some pretty funny gameplay moments.

I really liked how the truck moved- felt 'sandy' but also very responsive- along with all the nice visual effects like the tire marks and the sand that gets kicked up. Also, the big variety of beachgoers made the whole thing feel more alive, too. Great entry!

This game is so cute! And you can also drive off into the void.

Theme and mood nailed as always! At first I got confident with the music turned on the entire time but then I got bullied (still 82, not bad I think) xD Congrats!

Hot dang, I enjoyed this. The wave at the bottom look so good! This took some getting used to, but once I figured out how to avoid the children beating me up, I started to do pretty well. Every pico-8 game I play is a masterpiece, and this is no exception. Bravo!

This is a an extremely polished game. You could convince me you spent 5 times as long on this. I would however like some sort of upgrade system. Like getting upgrades to the van with the money. Great game best one ive played so far!

This is an incredibly charming game with people who feel like real people. I love the lo-fi aesthetic and cute graphics. And the devs did some really neat stuff with the waves!

What an excellent game! It took me a round of complete failure to get a handle on the controls, but my next attempt was much better. The art in super charming and all the little touches are really impressive: the water, the tire tracks, the jaunty little bounce of the car, the controls, minimal but perfectly suited music and sound effects, really great stuff.

I appreciated how you can kind of control the difficulty by deciding how many kids to lure towards your truck.. at least at first! Things can spiral out of control fairly quickly after accidentally messing up an ice cream or bumping into a kid on accident.

This is the kind of Pico-8 game that pushes me to make my own better!

I'm checking every pico game entry for this jam and so far this is by far my fav, although there are plenty others which are great. I genuenly had fun! I understood the mechanics for the second run and from there it was pure profitmaking from those little kids, muhahaha!

The game looks and sounds amazing. I was a little confused at first about the position that kids had to be in for me to serve ice cream, but I got it. Managed a score of 23 dollars as well. Don't really have an complaints with the game either. Great job on this.

Wow, I'm being bullied because I missed some kid's order. So I'm trying to get away and .. ho no! I ran over a child! My god it's a massacre on the beach! Nice pico8 entry! A simple but enjoyabl game. Would be fun to have even more complex ice cream to craft within a time limit! Good job overall!

This is a hilarious game. I definitely did not expect to be able to run over people with my car! :laughing:

But this is a really nice game:
- You want to attract more people to get more profit but you do not want to attract *too many* of them because then they will get angry in the queue.
- This is a really fun experience where you have to find the right balance between profit and happiness. I really like it.

Fun and cute. I can't see the point of turning off the music ? Maybe kids should not order until it's turned off. Also the game difficulty doesn't seems to progress or it does very slowly. I guess the real difficulty is to struggling against my bad instincts :D

I made $251 by parking in the middle with the music left on, and then ignoring the angry mob until it was time to stop thinking about ice-cream and righteously go down in a blaze glory. Cute game, and I love the absurdity of it.
