I very loved idea with that player makes something by his hand. Game in itself imho not unique, but with idea cool. Also paper capacity very small!!

@asasin56 totally agree, I was just messing around with render textures, to make that foldable plane. Also this is my first experience in writing music.

I like the music and the mood! The controls were a bit weird. The plane wants to turn left or right when I want it to go up.

@brandon-campbell Thank you. Well, I have to add some challenge. So controls are intentionally wacky - additional random rotation force with every W press.

The fact that you're invited to write the important message is a nice touch. I went with "remember to drink water!".

I like the way you did the folding of the plane. The controls felt interesting too, although I didn't understand at first what exactly the input schema was.

The music was dope!

The folding and unfolding mechanic for the planes was *really* cool. For the flying part, the controls took a bit to get used to and I didn't understand the random wiggling whenever you pressed W at first. When I read your comment about it I was able to start playing around the direction changes which was fun but originally it just felt like the controls were broken. It might help to have something like a little gust of wind animation to the side whenever the player is rotated so it would be more intuitive how the mechanic works.

Fits well with the theme!

@perfectsquare my main idea was to create different stuff with somewhat seamless transition. And I think the really cool stuff is those transitions, not the folding. You are totally correct about wind particles, don't know why but I didn't think about it. Thank you for playing.

This felt like an experimental type of game. I thought the controls were decent, would really liked to have seen a list for the controls on this page or in game however. Pretty cool that the paper folded and was the actual game object that included the text.

@beeb-gamecodecompany yep, you are 100% correct. This was literally an experimental game - in creating foldable mesh, in render textures and in somewhat seamless transitions between different gameplays.

I wish the green wall at the end were bigger though, I went over it thinking I needed to land behind it, but the paper plane just got out of the world.
Nice game overall

A very deep and emotional experience. Very creative interpretation of the theme. Love the way the paper folds and unfolds. Flying through the obstacles was very meditative. And the music was very enjoyable.

Thank you for this game. Very impressive for the compo.

5/5 humor because i wrote a dirty joke on my letter

was really neat to fold it up, hurl it, then unfold it again at the end (spoiler alert)

Very nice music to go along with the gentle flight of a letter. I wrote to my mother asking if I should bring her anything from Chipotle, and it definitely added to the atmosphere.

Writing the message (I chose a random one which was nuclear launch codes) and folding it, sending it through the level was quite hilarious.

It took me some time to understand that tapping [W] maintained the plane's lift and [A]/[D] determined its turning because the instructions were not listed anywhere.

The folding mechanic was pretty nifty. I was a bit confused by the controls as I initially assumed that pressing and holding S or W would pull up. It took me a bit to figure out that you need to repeatedly tap W, but once I figured that out it wasn't too hard.
