Delivery Stranding by Yaroslav Kravtsov

[raw]
made by Yaroslav Kravtsov for Ludum Dare 53 (JAM)

In this game, you play as a courier who must deliver valuable goods to various settlements while trekking through a dense forest. Created as an experimental entry for the Ludum Dare competition, the game has no clear endpoint, allowing you to play at your own pace and leisure.

Disclaimer: 3D models taken from free asset packs. All 2D images made in MidJourney. No music and sounds, sorry.

This time around, I didn't have the desire to win the competition, but I wanted to experiment by combining idle gameplay with courier gameplay. The game has minimal text, but I hope this will help players quickly understand it. Explore the world, discover new delivery points, and improve your abilities. Alternatively, hire couriers to do all the work for you. If you enjoyed the game, please leave a comment.

Very comfortable to play!!! I like the idea, but i think that it's more fun if player had some sort of quests.

Even though I don't like walking simulators, the choice of assets and the map layout are really nice. :)

I don't really like it too much, it has nice aesthetic but playing it doesn't feel very good.

@unkilledshadow135-alex thank you for the idea about quests. I'm thinking about this for the further development. Every game can be better with characters, story and quests. I just didn't have enough time to make it for jam version.

quite a surprise for me as well, got me intersted in testing roblox game dev.

the name of this made me laugh already.

very good idea to incorporate midjourney assets into this.

we used chat gpt for text content in a lot of the content we do have in ours https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/53/message-delivered

this is a cute reference to a game that is largely about delivery :)

Relaxing experience, far more than death stranding haha~ Was lovely to have a game that's just about delivery, though would have wished to see more of a spin even on this, but that can be expanded on later~ Lovely work! :)

Since I hadn't played Roblox for a while and I was amazed to see high detail 3D models of terrain imported into Roblox.
