STUPID LEGS by LDJam user 314356
Summon customized derpy monsters to do the chores for you: check mail, do the laundry, gather apples, pay taxes, and more!

Play the game:
Windows build v1.3 (recommended) (post-compo, see patch notes at the bottom of the page)
Windows build v1.0 (compo, made in 48 hours)

About the game:
5-10 minutes of pure fun. Made for the Compo in 48 hours (Ludum Dare 55, theme: "Summoning").
- You are a wizard! :) You are talented and smart!
- You like magic and doing wizardy stuff! It’s fun!
- Also you hate chores and boring stuff! It’s NOT fun :(
- But even wizards need to do boring stuff now and then. So, let’s get to it, I guess… Hmmm… What if?.. Yes, it just might work! Summon some improvised monsters and make them do the work for you!

Controls:
- Left Mouse Button – grab monster parts to attach them.
- Right/Middle Mouse Button – pan camera.
- Mouse Wheel – zoom camera.
- Q/E and A/D – rotate hovered or grabbed monster parts.
- R – restart level.
- Space/Enter – play/stop the scene.
- F – move camera to the cursor position.

Known issues and bugs (most of them fixed in post-compo version):
- ~~There's no tutorial in the game yet. I'm planning to add it later.~~ (fixed in post-compo version)
- ~~There's no any context/story in the game yet. Planning to add it soon as well.~~ (fixed in post-compo version)
- ~~On the Victory Screen space doesn't open next level, it restarts the current one. Press the button with a mouse.~~ (fixed in post-compo version)
- ~~There's only 4 levels in the game so far. I planned more, so I'll get to it soon.~~ (fixed in post-compo version)
- ~~Pants on Level 2 may be hard to pass. It's a known issue because of some physics tradeoffs that I had to do closer to deadline.~~ (fixed in post-compo version)
- ~~Some text colors are not contrast enough.~~ (fixed in post-compo version)
- ~~There's no sounds and music. I was planning to add sounds, but didn't have enough time. Probably will add it later.~~ (fixed in post-compo version)
- In some cases some parts may be separate from the main part of a monster. It's not intended, but I didn't find a good fast solution, and it's pretty funny.
- You need to build a monster every try, because they don't save between tries. Saving was an obvious feature, but it didn't fit the scope, so I had to drop it.

Levels explained:
Summon strange custom creatures, so they do the chores for you.
- Chore #1: Go to the mailbox to check mail.
- Chore #2: Remove some clothes from the drying rack and bring them to the laundry basket.
- Chore #3: Gather some apples and bring them to the fruit basket.
- Chore #4: Pay taxes: bring bag of coins to the tax den.
- Chore #5: Pick up some trash and take it to the trash bag.
- Chore #6 (Boss): Take out the trash: carry disgusting sticky bag to the dumpster.

Patch notes for v1.3 (post-compo):
- Added intro: now there's a short story slideshow before the first level.
- Added chores' descriptions and tutorial hints.
- Improved first 4 levels: better level design and fine-tuning.
- Added 2 more levels (now there's 6 instead of 4).
- New monster parts: long chunk and bulky chunk.
- New quest items: apple stubs, bones, bag of trash.
- Sounds added (as well as mute/unmute button).
- Reworked final screen after the winning: you can now close the game or play again from the first level.
- Added shortcut for restarting the game from the first level (Crtl+R or Shift+R).
- Added grab animation for grabbers (monster hands).
- Fixed text colors for better readability.
- Added vision fog around the monster.
- Changed the sprite for laundry basket.
- Fixed bug with colliders of quest items (clothes, apples, bag of gold, etc.) and better quest items handling overall.
- Fixed bug that prevented Spacebar from starting the next level on the level completion screen (it restarted the same level instead).
- Adjusted rotation speed of monster parts in edit mode with Q/E and A/D (now it's faster).
- Application icon changed.

One quality of life feature I'd ask for if you work on this more would be to add some hot keys for selecting the parts. It may just be because of the type of mouse I have (rolly ball), but I found it tiring to go to the left and drag each little part out individually. If instead a player pushed 1,2,3, or 4 to get that specific part from the stock to just jump to the cursor, that would allow for quicker monster creation.
Anyways, that is just a very minor nitpick that probably only affects me anyways haha. Overall I really enjoyed it.
Bro doesn't look too happy.

Your "known issues" is right that being able to iterate on a design instead of starting over each time would be a big improvement, but apart from that, everything is super tight and polished. The animations and art are super charming and everything feels good. I love this kind of physics-based transportation puzzles, and even within those types of games, this one is a standout, especially for how good it looks.

I've already imagined how to make a roguelike from this... mmm...
