The Warlock Mafia Owes Me Money! is a roguelite deckbuilder where you combine Mote cards to summon deadly Monsters.

You don't remember much about last night but you remember that the Warlock Mafia owe you money! Now you've set out with an eldritch grimoire in hand to seek hazy revenge with your selection of 28 different creatures! Defeat the 3 bosses and get your money back in this roguelike deckbuilder!

Features

  • Combine Mote cards to summon more than 2-dozen monsters, each with unique stats & effects!
  • Traverse 3 maps, each more challenging than the last!
  • Fight 3 tough bosses!
  • Upgrade your deck and increase your summon limit using the shop!

Tips

  • The icon in the right of the screen opens the Grimoire, which contains all Mote Card combinations as well as comprehensive tutorials on the game's rules.
  • You should combine and upgrade matching Mote cards in your hand even if you are not going to use them to summon that turn.
  • Summons made using upgraded Mote cards are vastly more powerful than their lower level siblings.

Changelog: Minor patch to fix credits and a collider issue.

This is an incredible amount of work, combat-log, store system, deck management, turn based battler, unique combinations for a wide variety of summons. Impressive!

I thought the game was a bit easy, I think it might have to do with the starting deck hand size, or allowing multiple summons per turn. Once I discovered the thundercloud I could cruise through almost any group.

@dotblank Cheers for the feedback!

We would have liked another day to do big balance passes and do multiple difficulties 😃 There are ways to totally wreck the enemies! If you ever have a hankering to play again check out the monster "Thunderstruck" in the Grimoire. You can totally break the game if you manage to summon more than one of those in quick succession!

Well, this is just fantastic! Visually, it's beautiful. However, sometimes I struggle to see the level of the card based on the drawing. But from a technical standpoint, it's incredibly fun to play. Bravo!!
