About Us:

Our first game in Godot! We (Matthew & Scott) are two buddies who have been making games together since middle school. This is our first jam together. Learning GD script was tough but we are proud of what we were able to put together. Hopefully it will make you smile... and perhaps laugh! We are honored to be a part of LD55. Enjoy!

Hey I've tested your game and I've loved the graphics especially the wife one at the first dialogue. The gameplay was nice even if at the beginning I didn't figure out that you have to spam f to clean the dog's poop.

I loled through the entire thing :D love the names and the dialogue, and the sounds, and the choices of music... I know it's not technically *your* music but it was so funny how you combined it all lol

This was funny! I'm not sure if I just wasn't playing it right, but at one point when I got summoned to fight the adventurer just disappeared. Otherwise, it was an interesting and funny concept! The art style was great.

Really cool concept I thought it tied well into the theme! Loved the art so much as well :) only one confusing thing to begin with I couldn't figure out how to go between the different levels in the house, but then got that worked out and it was pretty fun (you just have to walk to the stairs and you'll get teleported to the different levels)

This was a super funny game! Art for the main title and VN portion was amazing. Game loop is a little repetitive but otherwise nice job!

Really interesting take on the theme! I thought the VN portion was really well polished.
The scales gave the game a cool dynamic. I thought it was a bit hard to figure out how moving between the different platforms worked, and the house navigation could have been a bit clearer.
Overall nice work!

I'm sad there is no music rating :( It was 5/5 for me.
Love the presentation, the visual novel section was amazing!
Gameplay section was a bit rougher so I wouldn't mind if it was only visual novel, but it was still fun especially with the sfx's

Realy nice visual.
The gameplay is a bit funcky but in a fun way.
Was a little bit frustrated when going up the stairs, was directly going down because still having the right arrow down.
Suggestion: To go up, we can use the up arrow ?

I really like how this game does not take itself too seriously. I had to grin all the way when playing it. And while graphics are not evaluated here, I still like to point out that this game is a good example that you can create a nice mood even combining assets from other sources.

Great work!

The sounds and the fact I need to clean dog shit was hilarious haha
It was a little bit hard to move up and down in the house, and I did not manage to dodge efficiently (maybe it miss something to alert the player the enemy will attack soon). Congratulation for your first Godot game !

I didn't understand how to dodge, and the vertical movement in the house isn't very convenient. However, I appreciated the vibe and cool graphics.

It is a very unusual and atmospheric game, the visual is quite interesting, it looks stylish and restrained! Good luck with your project, I would have played it more than once!!!

I loved the idea and the humor! The graphics are also really cool.

I had some trouble navigating in the house (vertical movement, as mentioned above), and there were some minor bugs – an adventurer not showing up, some texts over each other after failing the game – but nothing too big.

Nice effort!

Nice work on your game there. I'm pretty impressed how much polish you added into the game and you also added some humor in it. I only wish there was W, A, S, D controls lol

"You look just as good as the day you died" 5/5 humor xD Gameplay is also pretty funny in what you're actually having to do, although I found the combat a little challenging! A signal of when the enemy was about to strike would have been nice. Overall, a solid entry. I hope you two continue to do more jams in the future!

That was funny, loved the wife and the sound effects! Fighting the adventurer is a bit hard and walking around the house is kinda buggy, but was still pretty fun!
