I liked it! It's a simple mechanic, but the puzzles are fun

Interesting mechanics and interesting solution with the movement, I think for more readability of the space you could stretch the grid for visual display or divide background on tiles, no?

Some interesting solutions here, I wish there was more! Good job nonetheless

Great work! Suprisingly tough little puzzle game. I got stuck on level (I think it was 4 or 5).
I agree with the comment above that some kind of grid design in the background would help with the readability and "planning", from the players perspective.

Keep up the great work.

Great work! I felt like the puzzles were just tricky enough to keep my simple brain engaged the whole time, great work on the difficulty! Everything felt solid and cohesive

Puzzles are fun! At first I thought that you need to place blocks on top of other blocks, so was confused at one of the levels, but then everything else went smoothly. Reminded me of a lot of puzzle games of old, which is a great thing!

This game is pretty fun! Even though there aren't many levels, I think the mechanic is quite interesting. I like the grid-based movement, I haven't really seen something like that before.

Very clever puzzle design. Just left and right controls are very smooth and emphasize the level design. It's a nice surprise to see that a small change in the level can lead to a very different solution. Nice work!

It immediately captures with smoothess, I was like "oh, blocks, should I like jump or something" but the guy just hops over them like it's nothing. The movement gives much uniqueness to the game. The game idea is great and original (or at least I haven't seen it done before). Short with easy puzzles but a nice demo.

Interesting puzzle mechanic, but a bit more levels would make this game better. Nice work!

Speaking of controls, the moment my avatar moves instead of just turning in the direction I want is killing me. I think the avatar should turn first and move later.
The tutorial and the learning curve are great, btw.

Hey, not bad at all. How long have you been making games?

Thanks for the feedback so far everyone! Glad people are enjoying the game.

@tugaryn @ohfiddlediddle The grid suggestion is interesting, I hadn't considered that. Might make an update later (if I can find some time) to add that grid, if it helps with the gameplay experience.

@denismarasan Yeah, I had thought of doing a turn-then-move control, but it would make the 3rd level trivial; that's why I like the turning-with-moving, because it created a kind-of interesting puzzle opportunity.

@coda-highland I've been making games for about 1.5 years now, I started before that but lost interest, then got back into it around Dec 2022

Simple but effective game. Definitely would have loved some more complicated puzzles, but this is a solid start to a puzzle game

Small but good game. The level 3 caught me off-guard and I needed to read comments to be able to progress further. I think the mechanic of placing blocks floating should not be introduced that abruptly with a harder puzzle. You should first make a level where the player can't place the block in any other location, so that to force him to see that this mechanic is in fact possible.

The mechanics are very interesting, in the very last level I had to really think hard!

It's a pity it ends so quickly

This shows importance of having a COMPLETE game as opposed to a big unfinished game!

This was a short, but really nice little puzzle game! The puzzles were very clever and I often had to think out of the box to solve them. Really well done! Great submission :D

You built a good engine, but there are very few levels. I beat it quite quickly. Still good job overall, just wish you knocked out like 5-10 more levels.

Interesting mechanics when we havent 'jump' and need to (summon xD) blocks right in direction we look. GJ!

Nice! I like the mechanics, it was simple but interesting. I don't think I saw anything similar. It looks like a platformer but it's not, it's a grid-based puzzle game but from the side view. It's interesting!

I really love the movement for this game its so satisfying, and the sound effects and music were a nice touch. The levels made clever use of the mechanic. I think it would be nice to add a grid to help me count where I'm placing blocks (Especially for the level where I build the stairs)
I would love to play an extended version of this game! Overall great work!
