Cool concept with the colors and different sequences of characters to click. I brought the game to its KNEES by spamming down right lol.

I think some extra gameplay feature to be very fun, congratulation for finishing the jam

It's a pity the game was very slow... I played through the browser. But I really liked the idea!

Nice concept, I like the magica style casting. Only thing that looking at the edge of large monitor is painful. But overall pretty fun.

Got 132! Don't know if it's good but I had fun and a good amount of stress! Was wondering if it's possible to learn the pattern to do the red, green, blue in chain and repeat to get the best score

@afi-olya sorry to heard that, it seems we have some performances issues with phaser (probably the glow effect ) but it's very random, so ... hard to fix

Cool concept but you can easily spam and survive, I think with a little bit mor mechanics to avoid that it can be really cool

Got 70 (not very good) but it's funny you think it's easy until you cannot handle it anymore. The spellcasting mechanic is really fun, congrats

It's a bit laggy, nice mechanics btw. I'd rather prefer creatures to go faster and ability to cast right away without waiting for active spell to finish

Nice idea, a bit hard at the start when you are not familiar with the combos but good work!

Fun idea! I do enjoy good arrow pressing. The shileds having max range adds a nice challenge. The enemies could use a bit more consistent design but overall I like the wacky feel the difference in style brings into the game.

Once I actually worked out how to summon the shield I had great fun! The difficulty increases fast!

Interesting concept. I like the color coding to decide which shield to use for which enemy is closest. I wish the combos were closer to the center of the screen so I didn't have to look back and forth so far. Thanks for the game.

Pretty good game! love typing games which this felt sort of like!

Good job! great game!

Wow this is a really awesome jam!

The gameplay was super simple to understand yet so addicting!
I very quickly got into a flow state casting spell after spell.

Both the art style and music were so charming!

Some more variety in combinations overtime could be nice touch but overall amazing work!

Heya! That was really fun. Darndest thing though. I was trying to summon a shield and accidentally called in a 500kg Eagle Strike.

Really enjoyable game where you do key stroke patterns to protect yourself. Fast click were not registered but could be on purpose.

For the level of relevance, it has reached a qualified level. But its performance seems imperfect on some low-end machines, and for an input sensitive game, performance is a big issue. From a creative perspective, it is a great game.

The concept is super cool, I love the combinations you went with to cast spells, four buttons make for a very frantic experience when you have to cast bunch of spells when enemies get close. The downside of that is that I spent most of my time looking at the combination list instead of the neat little assets you made for the rest of the game, but once i got hang of it, the spellcasting became both second nature, yet confusing enough for me to mix up the spells and get into the frantic and intense situations. Very well done!

@avi The only issue I know is some performance issue because of the glow effect in Phaser  if you have a very large screen it seems to increase this issue but else it seems to works normally everywhere  To play you just need to use your keyboard to enter the right combination of arrow (with the arrow keys) and it will summon the right "shield" "power" to destroy ennemy with the same color than the shiel  Hope it will help !

I was so focused on the spell combinations that I didn't register the score in top center. I just assumed I was playing against time, so I ended up with 255 when I looked over and realized the number was actually going up. Fun game! I wish the combinations were closer to center so I wouldn't need to focus on the corner of the screen.

Polished game, I like the zoom-out effect at the start. Gameplay-wise I'd switch up the combinations for spells after a while, spamming is too easy without even looking at the enemies. Or incentivize not casting a certain spell because a power-up is incoming that you would destroy with that color. There are lots of other options of course, like giving bonus points for a wave destroying many enemies at once, hit points for some enemies so you need to cast the same wave multiple time to destroy it, having mixed colors (waves that destroy multiple enemy types/enemies that die from multiple wave types), etc.

Cool submission!

Interesting game, but not long my strategy changed to ↑↓←→ - ←←↓↑ - ↓→↓→, then repeat, which I found allowed me to have all three shields almost all the time, without even looking at the enemies, and ended up scoring 271 points (my hands got a bit tired)
![QQ图片20240418015313.png](///raw/2aa/f5/z/64263.png)

Maybe the mechanics need to be adjusted, like only one shield can be in effect at a time, and the one behind will take over the former one, or an elite enemy that requires a specific sequence of shield combinations to be defeated, or some friendly penguins come to join you but your shield will push them away

Overall it was pretty fun! Like it very much!
