A 2D physics game where you have to build a structure that mines resources and returns them to your home base.
The original idea was to make a Factorio-style automation game with World of Goo style physics. Well, that's out of scope (pretty obvious in retrospect) but I managed to come away with some simple gameplay that sort of works. It's not at all within my comfort zone (first time making a physics game, or making an LD game with Godot), so expect more rough edges than usual.
Tools: - Game engine + coding environment: Godot - Graphics: Krita, Aseprite - Fonts: Roboto (in-game text), Copperplate Gothic Bold and Trebuchet (for titles) - Audio: Reaper, Surge, OrilRiver, Span, some drum samples from Ghosthack
Post-deadline changes: - Added support for very high resolution screens

And nice music track too!
@glen-chang Yeah, I realise now that the game doesn't actually explain how to get the miner to work. You have to use pipes to build a path from the bottom of the miner to one of the two sockets in the base. See the picture in the game description above.
@pdotjpg Oh no! Sorry you encountered a bug. Do you remember if you were using a crossover (X-shaped block)? This only crosses the two perpendicular paths, it doesn't join them together, but there's no visual indication of that. Otherwise, I have a block that isn't working properly. Either way I have something to fix after voting is over.
I can feel that this game play can be expanded to be more fun!
