It's a fun game! The problem is that the unstable effect of the fire under you id too much compared to the other negative effects of the magic. But the rest is nice! :)

Beautiful game.
Game play wise, I ran into a few difficulties:
- The camera follows the mouse too much and it gets hard to see the game if you get frantic aiming around
- Some of the rooms are very small for ranged combat, leaving no room to run away and charge your spell enough to actually fire
- It's hard to tell whats activated in the equip runes menu, or how things connect to each other. For instance I thought I was supposed to just click on a rune to activate it, then I found I was supposed to drag them around to change the configuration?

Lots of depth to the gameplay here. Visuals were nicely done and the enemy death effect was satisfying. A few rough edges here and there but to be expected with any jam game. Really liked this one!

Really amazing with the time you had! Art & Game Desing are really well done. Great job. I ended up dying from my own fire. Great entry!

The art is stunning and the gameplay is fun although I found it very difficult personally. Good job!

Wow! Talk about an innovative jam. Loved the way you could manipulate your spells in the town. Overall, this is a well put together entry and would love to see this taken further! <3

It is super beautiful! Too bad, at one point, when I was shooting, it burned and killed my character.

This was a fun game! I did have a couple of issues though. I got stuck a couple of times. Once when I went through a door that wasn't opened yet, I couldn't get back into the main room, the other time, I went into a corner and couldn't get back out. Also, I found that the magic effects (at least for the ice and fire effects) It caused a lot of damage to me, and I couldn't keep playing because of it. I'm not sure if that's the point of it being unstable, but it did become unplayable once those effects were added. The game has a lot of potential though! Very fun!

I have to say that you've made a very impressive and polished game. I would be surprised if you didn't endup in the top games of this jam. Well done!

Fun game with absolutely amazing visuals! Just a minor bug, if enemies are if front you when beside a wall, you will clip through. Well done!

Great job! I love art, style and color palette a lot. I think the only thing that I found a bit uncomfortable is the movement of the camera and the identification of the place where it was shooting, details that could be polished! Excellent work!

5 stars on graphics, this is really looking great !
Just a shame that you die from the burning ground not even from the enemies.
But I really like the vibes of the game you could release a longer version I guess :-)

Nice entry with pretty 2d graphics!
As a minor level design suggestion, I would try to tweak spawn points on each level to prevent enemies attack player straight after he came in to the room.

Neat art style, lack some animation and a consistency on the tilemaps. But the setup, effects and other things make the worth. The game seems kinda dull and the level design could be improved to boost the game feel. Although the core mechanics and game ideas and fundamentals seem solid, nice entry!

The graphics are really impressive. The play control works but it feels like it's missing some impact; maybe it just needs some more animation. I feel like the enemies are too durable -- it would feel more satisfying for most enemies to go down in a hit or two so that the tougher ones are a bigger surprise. Overall I found it enjoyable, but the spell customization was completely baffling. I couldn't figure out the rules for what runes went where, what caused me to take damage, or even why runes would sometimes disappear when moving them.

The art style is pretty cool. I love the innovative way of making your own spells

Absolutely fantastic art and style.

The spell building mechanic is really neat, but it's not clear how to be successful with it. I had trouble even building a spell since I kept hurting myself while moving runes around. A better preview system would have helped a lot here.

Player speed feels a bit slow, maybe it's just the walk animation being misleading though? Enemy pathfinding seems to get stuck a lot.

The environments look great and kept me wanting to dive more.

Overall really impressive output on this!

Amazing art.

Found the glyphs a cool idea, tho a confusing to use.

Could get some nice music (or the same music as the town music) in the villany territories
