Notes:

This was my first ever game jam. All assets, scripts, sounds, etc. has been made by me in the time I was given. I had no teammates. The game was made in Roblox Studio.

If you wish to see the code, assets, etc:

You can copy the game ( the three dotted button if you need help finding it ) and open it in Roblox Studio*

! DISCLAIMER !

You need a Roblox account to play the game and you need to install Roblox, but doing so is pretty easy. You can always uninstall it afterwards. If you feel declined to play due to the effort needed to play I understand. Thanks for reading.

Hope you enjoy!

Nice thought to use roblox as an engine, unfortunately the game was bugged for me beyond the point were it was playable.

:) Cool game! I think it might have been more fun if you didn't have control over the speed. I liked it more when I just held the fast button down, and cruised along. The camera was also a little low, so it was hard to see around my horse butt! But nice art, good sounds, fun game!

I don't really know what Roblox is, but it seemed legit, so I didn't mind installing it and creating an account.

Well I understood what you wanted to make, but due to poor spawn points it hurts the experience. The spawn for the player should be in the three island where the apples are located, if not that a teleporter for the player.

@neeko69 you are meant to run away from the barn. I should have given some UI that said that, but I ran out of time. The Floating islands are room presets that get spawned as you run forward. Thanks for the comment.

Well hello!

I liked the unique spin on the theme (Unstable) and am surprised to see a game made in Roblox Studio. The graphics are cute, but the gameplay often lags a lot which causes new islands not to spawn.

Notes: I would have preffered if there was an intructions page or some arrows pointing to the right direction you need to go. You could also add some animations, but it isn't required. It will also be better to change the camera apect to make the apples visible.

Fairly complete game for such a short time span. Nice twist using Roblox. I loved the plastic-ish look of the models. Something I could see a young child playing for a while especially on an iPad etc.

Very cool! It's hard to find where to start, but after you do, it's a pretty solid game. I like the models and the play on words with the theme :). Overall pretty solid entry, thanks for submitting! My highest score was 33.

Hey!

This game has a cute art style and can be really addicting. I think there should be a challenge curve as you keep going on with the procedural levels and an indicator of how far I got in distance as well as how many apples. Nevertheless I played for a while even in its current state and it's a great first jam entry. I've never seen a Roblox engine game published to a jam before! I do know you can put this on mobile too, and if you make it slightly more challenging and have levels it will do fine!

One more note, I would have to agree with what someone said before, definitely would be a nice challenge to not have control over speed and force the player to move forward.

Good work.

Fun little game once I got it to work with a nice twist on the theme (unstabled haha)

I managed to reach the lower platform by speeding with the horse (shift) and getting onto the cool procedurally generated mechanics that look incredibly interesting.

I liked the detail you put into the audio and assets it was really good for the mood of the game.

It was also nice to see on the roblox platform as well, with a few tweaks such as getting the levels to load, a scoreboard system and maybe some tiered rewards I can see this game easily being monetized on roblox.

Nicely done for a first jam you should be proud :)
