I can relate to the theme of this game. Ever changing regulations are a pain. The UI placements could have been better. It wasn't immediately obvious where my total cash was at.

aah this is a gem! really fun and engaging game and i played it for longer than i planned to :p it's got a ton of potential, the sound is amazing - not just the soundtrack but the sfx too - and it's a really nice game!!

Fun concept, having to adapt to the random new rules constantly. It did feel just a little too easy, wasn't long before I was swimming in the big bucks. Overall though, well done!

Its such a good take on the theme! At some point I was making so much money it was easy to pay the fine at each time though. It is a cool idea to expand upon, great entry!

Annoyingly, the mailbox doesn't appear to work. I think we're just missing some flavourtext though as the game plays fine without it.

it's easy at first, and it's great for getting familiar with the process. it's getting harder and harder, as you need to manage more products, and you want to be greedy to make more profits, but if you grow too many things, it'll be a huge risk for avoid the fine.

I wasn't able to make it through, the police came by and made me to pay the fine for the ban. but the ban was not the same ban as shown on the screen. I got confused. I did well for the previous ones. I'm not sure if it's bug or I didn't understand the game right.

"but the ban was not the same ban as shown on the screen" that's right! You need to check the mailbox every time the postman delivers the newspaper, because when you reading the newspaper you find out what the government has banned this time.

Graphics were great! I finished it in one go, definitely a cool submission.

My only real complaint is the music was very.. repetitive and not very good to listen to in general. Overall I really enjoyed it though :)

Hi there! (we met at GDsecreate's stream) Great game: if you really made it Solo in 72 hours, this game deserves to be in Top-100. It looks almost complete.

Issues I'd notice:
1) For this casual style make more contrast cursor (black arrow with white outline or vice versa).
2) Spacing for growing numbers. I mean money counter when cash exceeds 10k :)
3) Overlappings at the mailbox or at right controls (when it needs to manage trees or farm under UI).
4) A bit repetitive music.

Without these issues, it would be perfectly completed hypercasual game during LD format.
I've finished game with $4200 with 4th attempt.

Almost lost on my last year, only had 5 bucks left so I couldn't build anything. Diligently followed the law and everything went ok.

Had a blast with this one, it's fun, a great idea, and a good take on the theme. Well done!

Congratulations on the game, it's great to see another user of the construct here, I love these management games and you made a really fun one, if you haven't given your feedback on my game and can I'll be very happy a big hug.

Nice game! I think I found a bug: After finishing the game, when you start a new game, there are no police, taxman or mail and you get to keep all the money that you had when you finished. And yes, I really enjoyed the game that much that I wanted to start a 2nd playthrough! I love simple number growing games! I think the tax thing was little bit weird and at first I thought I was gaining money or something. I would have added maybe some explaining texts here and there, because those icons were sometimes little cryptic. For a mobile game it is nice if you can come up with good enough icons to explain everything, but on PC game I prefer icon + text, it is just so much more easier to understand then everything has a label. The police and gate mechanism was really innovative! I really liked that I got some time trying to delete all the prohibited items. Also minor improvement suggestion: The trees on the edge of the screen were difficult to click because the UI would get in the way. I would have added more buffer to the edges of the screen. But yeah, I think this is the best game experience for me so far! I really like strategy and business games and I would like to make something like this at some point by myself.

Whew, this isn't easy with a laptop touchpad.... but I made it first try with over $500! It's definitely rough how the only way to figure out to read the newspaper is when the policeman fines you for the only things that *aren't* banned. It's interesting how the newspaper doesn't pause the game like when other popups appear, the policeman almost came while I was struggling to press the X button to close the newspaper.

These are some amazing graphics! Really good job on 'em, this looks really polished. My only criticism would be that it took me *forever* to figure out how to toggle the flag, it doesn't pop up like the farms do when you hover over it. I thought you have to click the flagpole or something, eventually I got it though.

Really cute artstyle, loving the concept. Ended up figuring out that just having tons of chicken coops and bribing the cops ("paying the fine") every time allowed me to gain massive amounts of wealth

Very cool game with a black humor! Final finish the game with earn 2458 dollars, really fun to play! The graphic is very adorable!

This was one of the most fun games I have played for this LD, however I do have a fondness for farming and capitalism games XD. The graphics were adorable, and the game mechanic put a fun spin on the farming genre, the music was cute and fit well with the game, great entry!

very cool game, nice take on the theme! My only gripe was that it took a long time before anything happened, for first 5 minutes, I got about 5 newspapers, but the restriction was the same, leading to me just sitting there, idly twiddling my thumbs. But after that, once the restrictions started changing and new buildings unlocked, it really started taking off! I was constantly shifting my buildings around, trying to be faster than the dirty, dirty cops, coming 30secs after a new decree. After the rough start I really enjoyed the game (the music loop could be a bit longer or varied as it got old pretty quick :D)

Really cool game! I loved the idea of having to constantly dig up and replant my garden, it got pretty tense in the late game when I started having to make BIG changes to the farm all at once, though I think the early game moved a little slow for my tastes. The music was solid and I loved the art, the presentation of the whole thing was quite nice. Great work!

This was a lot of fun. I could see having a full game of something like this, with more options to grow, and different configurations of the property or something. The music got very repetitive after a while, but otherwise a pleasant experience.
