haha, we went a similar direction. cool graphics, animations, and sound effects. Overall the game is really chill and fun. Love the inclusion of a sound and music off option.

Very satisfying. Quite enjoyed the music too. Bonus points for being a horse game.

Wonderfully ridiculous. Excellent super-realistic horse animations.

haha super fun! it gets a bit complicated when there is very little left of the stable, you have to fine tune it.
I would have liked some kind of faster horse, and more levels / stables, it could be very nice!

Unstable indeed :) the destruction felt satisfying and a simple fun game. Well done!

@javicoder it is all on my TO-DO list but the time was really scarse this time, you know how it is :( Thank you a bunch for the nice comment :)

A simple idea, done in simply the best way possible.
My only suggestion would be a way to see how many horses I used. Other than that, great work.

@kaje-cimhael Thanks. I was minutes from adding that but I opted for actually submitting it all in time. Hopefully better scores will make it to the GoTY editon  :gift:

This was goofy but fun, and had just the right kinda charm to make it all come together. I managed to 'thread the needle' with a horse between the last 2 posts a couple times before finally knocking it all down, which made me laugh out loud. Great job!

The best horse game ever! :)

This was a quite enjoyable few minutes! The mechanics, audio, and art style are sound, and I could see this being a successful mobile or party game if you added a time trial or score attack aspect to it. Overall, one of the most innovative games in the jam for sure! :D

@unfocused-locust-games wow, thanks :) I was considering either limiting the number of horses (they'd be all running around in a herd initially), or adding a timer (the faster you tear it down, the higher the score) or simply limiting the time, as you suggested. But then I simply ran out of time and decided it'll be a compo game this time. Thank for the suggestions, very appreciated!

You hit the theme twice: "unstable stable" is great. Very clean and nice implementation. Very enjoyable. Nothing to be improved. Congratulations!

This is cute! I swear towards the end those horses were purposefully avoiding the stable lol. Graphics are simple but look nice and fit the game well. Great job making a game in 8 hours! Very unstable :)

I really like the hilarity of this game! Enjoyable to watch these horses demolish the stable haha. The art and gameplay are minimal and clean. Definitely some variation in the horses and stuff would be a great addition. Overall, great job!

The music got a bit repetitive. Maybe it just took me too long to beat the game. I wish I could spawn horses faster and make the game even more chaotic. It was fun to break the stable. Thank you for the game.

Fun little game, I like it. Great take on a theme, too. Just like Crossy Road is the modern take on Frogger, this could be some kind of reinvention of Breakout or Arkanoid. Very fun! You can score players by the number of horses it took him/her to destabilize stable :) Like the less horses it took, the more points you get. That would make a game more fun, IMO

It was fun! It has a very polished feel for a LD game. Some suggestions I have are to add more levels and have a counter that keeps track of the number of horses you use. Maybe each level could have a target number of horses that you can try to stay under.

@messmerd -- Thank you a lot. To be honest (but not boast), I didn't even tweak the colours or anything. There was no time, I left them as I set them up. A total luck it's worked out together :) I only regret not adding screenshake...

Fun game! Very clever and it felt satisfying to knock the building down. I liked the little particles the pieces broke in to. I wish there were more levels, but I understand the time constraint. Great job!

@crefossus - Thank you very much for the most kind review.

I highly appreciate all the insights and remarks. It's all true (and on my TODO list) and I can only repeat the obvious = time constraints (I only had around 8 hours in total this time) = what came out of my decisions/cuts.

With this game, I'm actually considering pushing it to mobile (for free), I'll see by the final ratings and after consulting it with friends from the mobile games industry. Being a full time employee (in games) plus some actual family life doesn't leave that much time for side projects...

8 hours to make this game ! BIG GG ! i really enjoy to destroy this little stabble XD. A mobile game will be awesome and very... "satisfying" to play ;). Can we have a way to make the horse explode ? :'D
Congrats for this game !

Oh wow, this is awesome!
It’s simple, not a lot to it, but it’s still an enjoyable experience, with really the only complaint being that I wished there was more to it!
Props for making this in 8 hours!
