Fire Escape by Dj Depressive

The Boss is coming and he is Really angry and YOU, yeah that's right YOU have been slacking for the last month. But in a world where you need to be "Hands On" to fire someone all YOU need to do is to escape getting fired.

Continuously avoid your boss who's trying to reach out to you for a "little talk" whilst making printers and vending machines shoot stuff right in his face. If things get too rough you can also perform your signature move: pushing your co-workers into your boss.

(No worries, I've struggled with the commenting system here previously ;) )
Procedural room generation is impressive, and the voice lines were awesome. I think that added another level to the game's immersion. I'm trying to imagine playing it without coworkers walking around and talking, and it just wouldn't be the same. Great job team!
@quasar098 Thanks :)
@herchey That's the reaction we were hoping for haha :) glad you enjoyed it
@mhorth Thank you very much ;) we had a blast of a time creating the voice lines for your pleasure :)
@fromage Thank you very much, everything with a outline you could interact with by pressing lmb
@0x-void-x0 i dislike being chased aswell, Thank you very much for the kind words :)
@goddoesplaydice thank you very much :)
Thank you for you game, it's so easy and so fun :D
The boss ploughing through everything to get to you was brilliant.
I really like potted plants.
@elvinn Happy to have made your day <3
@alexascher I hope you keep your speed up then :D
---
@matterlinx Glad we could entertain you! :D Yeah the others sure did do a great job with the voice acting ;) Would have participated myself but was too deep into the code at the moment :sweat_smile:
---
@mateu Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for the praise, a steam release sure would sure be something! ;)
Regarding the mechanical depth: I think we just didn't make it clear enough what was available to the player, since everything which gets outlined has a different interaction through LMB which in-turn can greatly affect your score and run.
There should be a clear difficulty scaling in the game for each round/day, which day did you make it to?
I did wish that the controls were given at the start or maybe on an interactable poster in the elevator instead of the pause (Ah, I got so panicked once it all started that I just ran and hoped for the best? xD). LOVED the graphics and clips of people's dialogue.
Oo, and if you guys had had more time, I would have loved to be able to pick things with my noodly arms and throw them at the boss to slow him down.

@taran95 Thank you very much :)
---
@rincs I'm very glad you took the time to play the game and thank you very much for the feedback, we were planning on having the controls in the start menu or in the elevator but didn't have the time. Glad you liked it :)
---
@lolopupka Thank you very much, happy you enjoyed it
---
@copito Really glad you ***super***-enjoyed our game!!! :D Yeah, that was a real miss on our front: never really explaining that you can interact with objects in the environment and that it has an impact on both the boss and your score. Really impressed that you managed to make it all the way to the last level!
---
@xenosns Thank you!
---
@boxedmeatrevolution Sad you ran into that many bugs :( We never got around to performance optimisation but it's most definitely something we'll be doing for later patches ;) Happy you still found the game to be an enjoyable experience! Picking up things to throw definitely sounds like a super fun feature!
---
@nikolavuk Thank you very much and thanks for the feedback, we are thinking about ways to give more feedback for the players interaction since we also found it lacking. Thanks again :)
---
@mlho7 Thank you very much :)
---
@bios3008 Thank you very much, I think i outran the boss so i'm good for now
---
@common Thank you :)
