Hi everyone! This is my 6th attempt at Ludum Dare Compo and 1st time making a platformer game. I had a blast making it. And also got annoyed quite a lot, both making it and playtesting. So, I hope you will get at least half as annoyed as I was :P
There are 13 levels in total. All of them have a solution. Pay attention ;)

The name of the level is a hint, try to drop down here or there ;)
As much as I enjoyed the whole thing (I played through to the end and enjoyed every minute in a frustrated kind of way) maybe my favorite part was the intro screen..
Good job!
@thaprofesional Thank you so much for your kinds words :) I'm really happy to hear that someone liked my sense of humor!
@belonzik Thanks for playing and for your comment!
@coderaurus Thank you! Maybe I did get over the board with difficulty on some levels, but all of them are doable, and some of them in more that one way :) I can't believe someone got the reference to Mario music!
5/5
@zimonitrome And I love your comment ;) Thanks for playing.
Also, what level 11? Real one, or the one game is "telling you"? Because in-game level numeration is also a troll and is incorrect on purpose :P
@gagapete I agree, controls could be a bit better. For level 4, the level name is a hint ;)
Lastly, and I hate to do this, but just wanted to quickly plug my game for a rating as well (https://ldj.am/$303168). Any feedback would be appreciated as this was our first ever Ludum Dare. :D
@rolly Thanks! I'm happy to hear it :P
My first thought was "Hmm, should have added a grace timer on the jump", then I remembered the goal is to make it annoying -> Well done.
Then I thought "The jumping and movement is a bit floaty", then I remembered the goal is to make it annoying -> Well done.
At this point I get it, and it is glorious. Like this game has sus amongus tiles... And the freaking ARROW, it broke me.
This is one of my favorite compo games, I can't think of a single thing I would do differently. Everything is very cohesive and well put together! :trophy:
And yes, most of the "bad" controls are on purpose (with exception jumping sometimes not working, that was not intended). Since this is first platformer I ever made, I knew making good controls will be hard, so I decided to embrace all this annoying things and turn them into game features ;)
How far did you manage to get?
I liked the easter egg with the music at the end.
Good stuff :8ball:
