Theme Relevance

Since the aim of the game is to adapt to the changing and increasingly difficult target every 10 seconds, we feel the core mechanic resonates strongly with the theme of the jam.

Fix

Uploaded a webGL version after the jam, game untouched other than a Godot bug-fix that removed the black screen issue we were having.

Music was nice. Kind of hard to differentiate between symbols at glance but was fun overall.

@flanne Thanks for the feedback! Am glad you found it fun. We'll be balancing difficulty more after the jam period is over.

overall very polished game, good job! i would maybe add some animation/sound on death since now it just suddenly changes to the restart screen, but it's a minor thing :)

Strong Retro Art Style. Really simple and accessible mechanics. Good support for multiple types of input.
Might have just been me but I think the icons could of benefited from being larger as I struggle to distinguish them. Bonus Points for a Linux Port!

Really nice game, genuinely enjoyable to play even if it wasn't a jam game. Maybe the hammer could have a stronger impact? The rhythm aspect was rly good so you should lean into that. Overall very gud

Hey, just letting you know the HTML / Web version doesn't seem to display on your itch page. It's downloadable but doesn't show in browser!

Great game! I love the simple pixelart graphics and the music. The hammer smashing animation is very well drawn.
The game was simple but still a lot of fun. One thing I found a bit frustrating was when the new target symbol appeared instantly after the 10s timer completed because in those cases I often missed it.
Also I think sometimes the same symbol appered twice in a row and i wasn't sure if I had to hit it again.
Overall I really enjoyed playing this!

@tuile The web build on your itch page is not configured properly, so I can't play it right now. I'll pop back in later to check it.

@bloodyaugust Unfortunately, we did not get to have a working web version before the end of the jam, we removed the link to avoid further confusion. There is also no MacOS version since we didn't get to test it. We will fix this and upload a new, hopefully, working version on all systems after the voting week is done. Thank you for your interest however :). You can still download the windows or linux version, these should work fine.

This was fun. I like the style, the music is great and the idea as well. The only problem that I had was that the target symbols were too far up. I wasn't really able to look at what I need to smash and the buttons at the same time. other than that, great game

Nice game. Very retro. Some audio clue when the game changes or a countdown would make it even better.

Cute mechanics. Love the retro vibe. Very challenging to hit correctly. There's some sneaky symbols in there that look similar to each other even though they're different. Gets way harder once you have to swing in both directions!

Wishlist: Would love better feedback if I was successful or not. Sometimes I think I did it right but I'm not sure if I was actually a split second late and I wish there was feedback letter to know if I was too late or not.

@bloodyaugust @quabmara @honest-dan Our game is now playable on the web version on itch, so if you still feel like trying it out, please do!

Thank you @goldenxd @mossgames @lunarruin @lonagi for noticing our efforts and enjoying out game!

We're thinking of making the icons slightly larger, but still want them to be harder to tell apart as the game progresses. We have 3 sets of icons that the selection pool is randomly chosen from, but we're going to revamp them after the jam. We want it to stay somewhat frustrating like @cambryx found it, while adding in more visual and sfx cues that @alpalcalad @flying-dog-fish @khullag @candlesan mentioned! We actually ran out of time, and had no one taking point for sound, so we made do for the jam! Thank you guys so much for the feedback!

We had a blast, hoping to get the needed votes to get ranked! Missed the train a bit by not having the web version til this point.

A lovely game, all the art looks just so nice! The mechanic as well is quite fun. Something I think would've improved the experience by a lot is if the hammer felt weighter, maybe with some shaking or freeze frames. Maybe you already wanted to do something like that but didn't have time which is understandable cause a lot of the polish I wanted to add to my game also got sidetracked. Overall, great entry!

Nice game! At first it seems simple, but with time it gets more and more challenging.

I have played a couple of rounds and The above UI shows three symbols and an arrow on the bottom. Every ten seconds the arrows move to the right. But the symbols reshuffle as well... Am I missing something.

We appreciate the support @krasimir-balchev @cobrajs @quabmara @dhim @nakami and @roka-josh ! Thanks for getting us over 20 ratings!

@dhim We wanted it that way, but there isn't enough of a visual cue for the jam version that you see why that is.

@krasimir-balchev We already fixed all the things that were problematic/unfinished for the jam, in the unreleased version that'll come out soon after the jam is over! Thanks for your suggestion though, now there's a slight "shake" feedback!
