Some of the early stages are difficult to advance through. It took me several tries to leave the house with the baby. I was about to leave a comment saying that the game was stuck at that point, but I tried one more time and it suddenly worked! The later levels were generally more clear about what I was supposed to be doing, though, and they were more responsive, too.

Another really important thing is that if you're going to do a game with a heavy narrative focus, you should have a robust grasp of the language you're writing it in. "Doing the next" is not a valid English sentence (try saying "one more time" instead), and "talent" is spelled with one L. I understand that not everyone is a native speaker, but it becomes pretty hard to ignore in a game where the main draw is reading the text. Just a basic spellcheck would go a long way.

That being said, the graphics are quite appealing, and the minigames are surprisingly challenging and well designed. Maybe in the future you guys would be better off shifting the focus to the gameplay experience.

Nice graphics and mood. I liked the plot too, especially the sweet and sour kinda portrayal of reality. (The audio could be a bit quieter.) Meow purr-meow meow meow meow

for me the granny cookies killed me multiple times as i first tried to avoid the things flying at me, where i should have caught them. Later stages i better understood what to do - maybe i learned in the seconds before. Anyways now i've seen all seconds of live, meow

Very cute game with a nice message! I must say I found the minigames a bit repetitive and uninteresting after a while, the narrative had a much stronger draw for me!

I enjoyed my time with the game and loved the black and white artstyle altough i wish there were some more sounds or effects to make the whole experience(mainly the minigames) more engaging.

Nice little game! Love the astetics. The beepingsound when the characters talk is a bit harsh though. The part with the minigame with the letters I could not figure out. I tried typing them, but nothing happened. Did I do it wrong?

I could not really find the theme in this one, other than the title.

Beautiful little game! Great interpretation of the theme too, dwelling on the meaning of seconds in a life in the context of moments vs. just literal seconds (except there are 1000 milliseconds in one second and not 100!). And holy smokes does grandma really just pelt that candy at the kid hahaha! Well done!!

@wouter52 We're glad you liked it! Sounds are our problem... We didn't have an audio designer, that's why it's so bad. And with letters - it was necessary to catch letters on a white background, and not all that are generated :)

*also the "every 10 seconds" theme is revealed literally at the end of the game*

@cobrajs Thank you for playing our game. We are glad that you understood our idea very accurately. On [Itch](https://adecon.itch.io/every-10-seconds-life) we have already corrected for 1000 milliseconds :)

I love the 1 bit look. I want to specialize in this type of art.

A very simple and well done visual novel.

I liked that they used the theme in a subjective way. It's the first game I've seen like this.

Congratulations!

ps: I've never had so much trouble eating candies. :D

I think the art was beautiful! Really nice job in telling this short story.

For sound design I recommend to play with the pitch of the beep a little bit. or instead of making a beep for every letter. skip the beep for some letters in the string (for example the spaces and punctuations). or have a different beep for vowels as another examplel, this would make it sound more "natural" and pleasant to listen to. (I had to turn the volume down a lot 😂)

I enjoyed playing the mini games, although grandma's candies almost made me rage quit!

Good job overal on this game!

I can understand what you are trying to say. A little far-fetched for a game like this. But at least you tried.

Overall it looks great, even though the game is in pixel style but I can see you put a lot of effort into the art resources.

Nice, cohesive art style! I wanted to get to the ending to see what people were talking about, but the grandma minigame was just giving me a headache and a huge difficulty spike. I think that if the game is narrative focused it shouldn't force you to show off twitch reflexes just to enjoy it. And the time that minigames take should be consistent as it breaks the narrative (ie some are way longer than others)

@sirdorius You're not the first to be annoyed by this mini-game moment. In fact, it is very difficult to achieve balance in mini-games, as someone passes the first time, and someone cannot even score 10% - this is normal. Next time we will take this factor into account, thanks :)

Hello! I played your game on the stream, it's a pity that you didn't come :c
I really liked the idea! But a few minigames were funny.
1. Cat minigame, why does she poop more when I miss? :D
2. Granny shooting candy like a gun.
3. The guy who gives a damaged heart 0_0

I haven't beaten the letters minigame yet. I'm 10 minutes of tryed :s

The game asks different questions. Why is a guy's poop being removed is an important memory? Is he that lonely? This is sad T_T

The sound did not interfere, despite the problems that you described, and the graphics are nice. Keep making jam games! I believe in you <3

@sofignedova Thank you for playing our game. About the letter game, every fifth letter on the white background has to be caught and you get a word. Taking care of a pet is put off in our minds as a very important part of our lives. That's why we showed it.

This was cool, I enjoyed the combination of minigames and narrative (even if some games took a couple of tries to figure out). Even though I like the script, I don't feel like it went far enough. Nothing in the dialogue or events really surprised me. The visuals are nice, they really set the mood.

Also, I suggest using royalty free music if you don't have access to a sound person. It does a lot to set the mood, which would have elevated a game such as this.

@gildar76 We are very happy that you liked our concept :)
> "did you missa 0 on 10000 miliseconds = 10 seconds or did I missread?"

We do not know English well, so we could not convey the meaning of the text correctly... We wanted to indicate that one second is not just 1000 milliseconds

I really like your take on the theme. One of the few entries I saw, where the 10 seconds weren't connected to the gameplay but to the story. Also the graphics are pretty nice. I would have loved some basic ambient music though and a less anoying "message" sound. :D
The mini games are OK, nothing to special but they are providing some gameplay. Besides that the messages at the end of the game was very touching and made clear why I coudn't make out a continous story.
It would be cool if the controls weren't hidden behind the minigame. I had to restart to see the controls for the minigame again.
Overall a very cool entry. Keep it up.

I like the way this tells a story using little vignettes from this person's life. I found myself less interested in the mini-games and more interested in what was coming next in this person's life. Great job in telling this little story and getting me to connect to the character. Some of the little vignettes made me think of similar pieces of my life, and that's pretty neat if you an get someone else to do that. Nice job.

Interesting game, interpreting the theme as a series of life events.

I liked the graphics, they were clear and also very expressive, especially considering the two-color scheme. The sounds for dialogue, including the "pitch variation" depending on the character "speaking" might have felt less intrusive if the volume of it was a bit lower.

The concept itself was interesting, a narrative delivered with a backing of minigames. Most of the minigames felt easy to "decode", the "words from letters" took me a few tries before I realized that the white-background letters were the letters to catch.

I liked the message of the game, so many moments to reflect on, so remember to make the fullest out of the time we get.

Beautiful entry. It's a very original al lovely concept, different and get you in the mood. Interesting take on the theme.
Some thoughts:
- The art is great, sometimes less is more.
- I don't really get if we are seeing different moments on the live of the same characters or there're all different people.
- The mini-games may be a little bit repetitive after three or four times

Lovely game - the graphics and sound gave it a very nice retro feel.

I liked the idea of seeing little parts of peoples lives. It would have been good to know if it was the same people, and to build up a bit of a story of their lives.

The mini-games were ok, but a bit repetitive. I felt like the story was the interesting part.

Nice work getting this together in such a short time :).

This is real nice! Each of the scenes is simple yet poignant, as is the final message at the end. The 1-bit graphics are simple and work very well. I enjoyed the bleeps and bloops *except for* those made by the granny during the candy scene, which were super harsh and grating.

It was fairly easy to figure out what to do in each scene, especially with the sparkles to highlight important things (great touch btw!), and the minigames were intuitive as well. I have to disagree with the reviews that called them "repetitive" - there was enough variety that I never felt as though any specific minigame had outstayed its welcome.

There's a bit of wonky grammar in places, but I understand that English isn't your first language, so I can overlook that (and from the sounds of things, you've already made some improvements compared to what it was like initially). Overall, a really good game with a really powerful message. Well done!

This was very nice to play through. It also had a great, unified visual style about it, with nice scene transitions. I also appreciated interpreting the theme of the jam as part of the story for the game rather than being present in gameplay, and the story itself was simple and sweet. None of the mini games were too deep, but they felt like a good vehicle for the story. I also appreciated the simple changes made to increase the difficulty of the games as you went on. That was nicely done!

My one technical note was that not all the minigames lock the movement controls, so I'll be playing a game and walking around at the same time. But other than that, it played very smoothly!

Well done, congratulations!

I love this game! The story is heartwarming, the 1b graphics are simply amazing, the minigames are fun (except I think the letter one can get a bit too hard). Excellent job. My only "complaining" will go to the audio, as I think it's a bit annoying, maybe a less punchy beep with some pitch variations for every character's "voice" could do it. But overall, I'm really glad I found it. :)

Heya, I finally got around to trying your game. Actually I teared up a little at the end! Honestly it was a great little game, full of "life", so to speak! My only criticism is the white vertical lines in the backgroud, which I am not sure if it was a glitch or not. I am using Chrome browser and played the web version. Otherwise, honestly, its one of the best little games I have played lately. It truly tells a simple story with some fun mini-games inside. Congrats and ziveli! (from a Canadian-Serb to Ukraine!)

I love these mini games. Sometimes creating something virtual is actually a pleasure. Guys, share, who has a favorite game of these? I confess that lately I have been exploring the world of online casinos. This [useful source](https://bestcasinoplay.ca/online-casinos/1-deposit-casinos/) is my main helper. For example, the last thing I read was about a $1 deposit casino. I managed to find out about the gaming opportunities, that is, there is even a list of the best casinos here. I really like this site, because you can even read about the advantages and disadvantages, which is very important for both beginners and experienced players.
