The atmosphere is really fitting, it very well conveys that upbeat feeling you'd expect from this type of game.
The gameplay is a bit too hardcore for my taste, it seems that there is no consistent strategy and you just have to be lucky.

When I played I came 6th B)

I'm documenting it here because you guys are beasts with high scores and it will be gone soon ^^
The controls could use some improvement though. I'd personally try out smoothing the character movement so that it's easier to make tiny position adjustments and also maybe have the mouse control the relative character rotation instead of direct aim at the cursor.

Good luck on your ratings, see you next LD! :D

Also great job! glad you liked it
It wasn't obvious what the rules / scoring system is, just from looking at someone playing the game.
Having to keep track of three separate things, in different spots on screen and moving at different speeds, at the same time, in order to execute a single attack, was a lot. The bots behaved super unpredictably, I could almost never catch them to do the primary attack in time. Because all of that was going on, I never really noticed when my lives went down (or that I had two lives) and when the inspection guys came by. Pedestrians getting killed by the bots didn't seem to worsen my ratings, only made the bots fly more chaotically.
I'd be curious to see a post-jam build of the game with the chaos toned down, and with more intuitive action mechanics. The audio slaps, and I could see this being a fun take on the theme!
PS. Dear Unity, fix ur goddamn shader transpiler :)
all round a very good game.
Slightly too hard for me, but very fun nonetheless :D
The game itself was pretty difficult and I only played it a few times so I only got to about 4 yen.
Also shoutout for playing my game on stream! :v:
This one's got that classic "I don't care how hard you think this is" Pomo brand, which can make it super satisfying for folks to master if they put the time in. Keep up the good work, m'dude!
