Brings me back to the old text adventures that we used to play and also make ourselves. Nice work!

Super cool! I love how you combined time with a text adventure to create a very dynamic environment. The different solutions are also very cool to see. Though I have to say that the time mechanic takes a bit of a backseat once snuck inside the building. But perhaps I just took a very fortuitous path.
In any case, I enjoyed it a lot. Thanks for make!

Interesting word adventure game! Experience the tension of being a secret detective, but my perception of time and space in the game is a bit weak, and I failed to comprehend the specific role of time and did not pass.

Nice text adventure, good little story. I think I was too engulfed with leaving no trace that I took to long, haha. Well done!

I enjoyed this! So cool to see some interactive fiction with an "AI" element! Took a couple tries but I did make it out! If you continue on it I'd love to see some atmospheric art and sound. I also had trouble picturing the layout of things in my head, so a map or something would be nice. Great job!

Nice text adventure, the timer adds tensions, which is very nice. Great work!

Really liked that you could set the timer yourself forcing you to pay attention to the guard. Neat game :)

Unique submission. I managed to beat it after only losing two times early on. I had a little trouble visualing exactly where the guard was, but I appreciate that I had the timer to theoretically use for planning my escape. I think this would have made for an interesting longer-form text adventure. As it was, once I was in the building, I just was able to explore largely empty room. There didn't seem to be quite as much challenge once inside. Nice execution of your idea!

Really cool concept and use of the 10sec prompt. As someone else said though, I didn't feel much pressure once inside the building. I'd love to play this game with more timing elements to watch out for. Great job!

This was really interesting to play. I don't think I've seen a text based adventure game with actual time being a variable in the mix. Most of the time, time itself is just a part of the setting, not something that can be messed with or used as a tool. So kudos to you for making the genre a bit more interesting!

My only critique would be I wish there were sound effects, possibly some more feedback to the surroundings although I suppose a text based adventure game need not have sound effects.

Regardless, great job friend :)

I made it! The Mayor will burn for his lies and deceit :smiling_imp:

I enjoyed playing! I agree with some of the other comments that there wasn't much pressure once you were in the building. I would have enjoyed more timing puzzles for sure, but I'm sure you just didn't have time to add them in. Overall I had a good time sneaking about!

Really neat interpretation of the theme. I love seeing themes that are this deeply embedded in the final work - 10 seconds makes all the difference...!
Would love to see some atmospheric music/sfx etc if more time was allowed for it. Keep it up :)

Your take on the theme is interesting. It took quite some time to understand how to play this game because this was my second time to play interactive fiction games, but once I got it I had fun playing it.

I did a text adventure for a previous jam: "combine two incompatible genres" -- I mixed text adventure and racing sim. This has a similar vibe, in that it's mashing together time-based stuff with a text-only interface. It does a good job of keeping things tense!

I can say that don´t like very much text adventures but these one was very nice, I have one mistake first but then I can make it to the end, very clean and cleaver mechanics, nice story and wrighting, maybe could be more inmersive with some sounds and images but I enjoy it, cool job!

I appreciate all the feedback and agree with all of it. I was working on an update, but ended up not making it in time for this jam, as I ended up joining another one . I will probably keep pursuing it in the future, though. Thanks again!
