You are really trying to hold it so you cant even walk like a human. All you can do is roll
Use A/D or Left/Right to roll in desired direction
You are farting every 10 seconds. A fart forces you in the direction opposite of your back.
You can force a fart by pressing W/Up/Space. This does not stop or delay the autofart. You may only force another fart in 5 seconds. Your stomach growls when this ability recharges.
Will you be able to make the ascend to stop this every 10 seconds nonsense
Fart your way to the top as soon as possible

Constraining the mobility of the player means players need to incorporate the 10s involuntary fart into the game, together with having to be in correct rotation makes for a really fun (fartrasting) fodian game!

I still haven't been able to beat it even though I've spent a lot of time playing .-.
I got farted on big time. really enjoyed the challenge of this. Was so confident I was going to get a high score and then it was like... OOF. The falls were difficult to recover from emotionally. I went in with a huge ego and I left defeated, but better for the challenge. You did a great job making something unique, charming, and memorable during the Compo. I hope to see you place high in Humor!!! Thanks for the game :)

I like that there's a lot of planning ahead involved in letting off gas. The gameplay goes deeper than initially realized!
Grats, you have a great ability to design relatively simple ideas that translate to great community experiences.
Glad we had the opportunity to play this on stream! I gotta say, this is prolly one of my favorites of yours. :slight_smile: Just a solid game at its core, and the multiplayer is essentially the cherry on top. Clearly the only thing Getting Over It needed was in-game friends with the ability to laugh at you the moment you fail. :rofl:
The one thing I can definitely say is this is definitely a hard game cause the farts are crazy. I don't know what you have to do to be farting this much or with this much strength but somehow the characters in this did it and it's madness. That and the crazy rolling as a very weird combo.
Though gameplay wise the game is very vague I wasn't entirely sure where to go and I spent a decent amount of time trying to figure it out, which comboed with the massive penalty on a fall made trying to test out different directions quite painful to say the least. That and some of the absolutely evil platforms with their slanted ground.
Overall though an interesting concept and a cool accomplishment to manage all of this in a custom engine. Although I assume it was built form multiplayer so at least it's a good test of it.
I liked the "Getting over it" vibe with the really hard difficulty and hard to master but fair controls. Only thing I would have liked is an indicator of when my bonus fart is ready. Maybe there is one I didn't see?
Awesome job on adding multiplayer, it was fun to play it with a streamer, and that's quite insane for a compo game!
The humor is absolutely not for me, but that's fine.
