I died 2 times before really understanding but once I got the hang of it, I finished the game. Planting is hard, I don't know why, but I loved the mining animation.

I cant launch the game. We had a very similar pitch with seasons every 10 second and harvest some food.

i think 10 seconds for the season change is a bit too fast, but since it's the jam's idea ok. as feedback - you need to add the death conditions and ideally death animation - being able to still walk around while i'm considered "dead" is a bit weird :) at least lock the movement.

Pretty nice game! The season swaps is a good take on the theme especially the way you utilized it with the mechanics

I had to die several times before I finally figured out what to do! But then I really enjoyed playing!

I'm a big fan of farm type games and I really enjoyed this game! I even caught the feeling of flow and challenge towards the end.

It was not too convenient for me to use the controls. Perhaps I would like to control the mouse in such a game - with the mouse to walk and do actions. Sometimes I pressed the button to plant food and at the last moment I accidentally moved and it was all in vain!!! I got upset :(

I see the development of this idea and really want to see what happens if you finish it! I represent management where you need to get points and invest them in increasing the time of the season... I enjoyed it a lot! Thanks and good luck with your development.

@khullag yeah we wanted to add it but somehow never got around to doing so :(. thank you for the input though, its our first game jam so we're really happy we made a working game :D

Nice concept ! Even if 10 seconds is realy short to make actions in the right season ^^'.
I also did not understand what to do with the fence.

Built the dome. It was a really cute game. It was a bit simple on the gameplay side, and felt a little bit boring once I knew what was going on. The art and music was really nice though, I like your astronaut animations.

Cute game, the graphics are nice and the addition of music is cool. It would be fun if the resources you needed increased per turn, as the challenge is pretty low once you get into the flow of things. Also maybe hide the debug console for the release build!

Game is not working for me :(

Fun game! And the astronaut has cute animations!

It's a LITTLE unforgiving after the second dome "upgrade" (when it starts to cost 3 food and 3 iron), because once you get to that point, you have to execute everything perfectly to survive, which can be a little fiddly with some of the controls, since most button presses cancel other actions.

And there's really never any point in going on the right side of the planet, you should always stay on the left side to be close to the dome.

If anyone comes to this page and wonders if you should try it, definitely download it. ^_^

I found it funny that after dying the game just sort of politely asked me to stop playing. I think some other people have already said it, but it bears repeating that planting is quite frustrating. It seems like you have to be an arbitrary, unindicated distance away from everything else and then be careful to hold down the button for the entire animation, and even then it seems to fail sometimes.

I really like the music, but the sound effects are too loud relative to it and some of them don't fit very well.

All that said, I had fun figuring this game out and making it to the end. This is a really good use of the theme. Good job.

Very good little management game!

Took me awhile to catch on to what was happening.
It also felt like I have no control over whether or not I could give resources to the dome.

That being said, I had fun.
It was cute. It was fun. I enjoyed.

I had no idea what I had to do at first , maybe some indications at the beginning of the game or in your game page would be necessary. I think the game was actually quite pretty, I really like how visible the seasons changes are and the cosmonaut is cute.
Like other mentionned, planting was a bit frustrating, and I sometimes had an issue where my character wouldn't move for a few sec before walking incontrolably for another few seconds.

@quinn-patrick Thank you for your criticism! We thought it would be realistic that you have to finish the animation in order to actually place down the plant, but the cancelling of the animation with other buttons is a bit unbalanced, i agree, maybe if we locked the controls it would be a bit better. We have recieved multiple complaints about the volume, so we'll try to work on tweaking everything so it fits nicely next time! But we're glad you enjoyed the game!

@geronimo I kept trying that but it didn't always work for some reason. Maybe something was wrong with my load. What I found was that if I was harvesting a plant in front of the dome, resources would usually donate.. but up without the plant was useless?

...I'm also notorious for finding the weirdest bugs so.. my bad. ^^;;
It was fun though! I'm happy that I played. :D

This game have really unresponsive control. The character move really slowly, but i like graphic and audio
