The desert rat gang has stolen your infinite catnip generator blueprints!
As the leader of the cat engineers, you'll have to pilot the carton land mothership on the endless sea of sand to recover the blueprints!
EVERY TEN SECONDS making unmanned vehicles to defend against the rats' attacks, chase down the rat's lair fortress and defeat them to retrieve the blueprints!
Attention! You only have 10 seconds to build your unmanned vehicle!
Tip: Components with red and blue wires wrapped around them can power unmanned vehicles

)
! 1.21 version update changes !
* Add a tetris-like ui to show what will appear next
Add mouse wheel to adjust the angle of the parts
No new vehicles can be built until a vehicle is completely damaged, and the 10-second countdown only begins when construction begins
Add another new variant to the original random pool of components to make it less painful for players to find the components they want (hopefully)
Fixed the bug that music could not be converted correctly, now everyone can enjoy the cool dual version of music
Fixed a bug that the background did not move backwards correctly in the game
)
! 1.1 version update changes !
* Added a button to restart the game

! Sorry for the timeout !
We were severely overdue
at the end of 72 hours we had only finished a ragged demo that was not even playable, much to the frustration of our group, but we decided to finish everything we were scheduled to. So now we have this.
Since we can't move to the EX group because we've already exceeded the time limit, we'll write this timeout statement here and hope you enjoy our game :D

@foursay
We’re not done yet. Please give us a few more hours!
We want to make the work more complete and will also mark the timeout instructions

Thanks for the feedback, I think we should be able to meet your needs of watching the hilarity in the next update soon
Also great job with creating the graphics, it's really consistent and polished. Congats on the game!
What I liked:
- The art is crazy good
- The sound design
- The gameplay
Improvements:
- I know it's because of the theme but the building mechanic is so cool that it deserves more than 10 seconds. At current state it is too hard to build decent vehicle..
If you update the game and make the building system more easy to use please tag me I really want to play an improved version of your game ! But at current state it's already one of the best game I played in this jam so far.
I can forgive you for the timeout :p
Good job !
Maybe also tune the randomness of the parts if building is on the ten second timer. There was a lot of instances when I needed a wheel and I just kept getting weapons. Same for when I needed normal structural blocks.
Just to be clear though, I love this game. It's one of my favourites this jam, timeout or not.

Thanks for the feedback!
The difficulty of building is really the most urgent problem that needs to be changed, we plan to
Add a tetris-like ui to show what will appear next
Add mouse wheel to adjust the angle of the parts
Maybe players can't build a new car until the previous one is completely wiped out, giving plenty of time to relax and watch your unmanned car fight:
As a compensation, players can immediately detonate the current vehicle for the next build :D
But for now our group is exhausted and it's time to sleep
ZZZ
Very nice graphics, silly setting, wonky physics. What else could you possibly want?
I've manage to do some good vehicle at the end. But since the pieces seems to come at random, so you never have what you want when you want.
May be a shortcut to be able to chose the kind of piece you want could help.
You should make a "Every 30 seconds" version of this game :D.
Good job anyway, it was fun
It is also a little sad, that the ending is missing.
- I found some building blocks genuinely more useful than others (i. e. the large wheel: I always clicked that away after a few times because it was just too hard to make that stable)
- The concept of having limited time for each build worked for me, but yeah, 10 seconds is a bit short
- I liked that carts are built continuously, and that you could have multiple carts on track. On the other side, I often couldn't see my current carts in action because I already had to build a new one. I would have liked more time with each creation before moving on
- All audiovisual aspects are great, too :)
A great execution of a good idea !
I would simply have loved to know a little bit in advance which piece I was going to get, to make planning build a little bit easier. Moreover, I found it disapointing that I couldn't focus on the unit currentoly battling to see how it performed since I hace to constantly build new vehicles franticaly.
An otherwise really great and fun entrey, congrats !
You made a really addictive game and i enjoy to play it all afternoon.
Congratulations to your entire team.
Edit: Oh, minor bug: When the screen fades to black it doesn't fill the whole screen with resolutions higher than 1080p I think, probably need to set the canvas scaling settings to Expand or something in Unity, here's 1440p in my case:

I like the idea of the constructor, but some details are frustrating:
1. 10 seconds is not enough to realize the capacity of the structure.
2. Cars often behave unpredictably due to realistic physics. Either the car falls from the wreckage under the details of the "tank", or they fall on their side because of the shots.
3. Random! And it wouldn't be critical if I had the opportunity to remove the interfering details. For example, "throw away" them by moving them beyond the "zone" of the constructor.
It took me a while to figure out that the parts could be rotated. Even despite the tutorial. This happened because when I started playing, I was distracted by the comprehension of details and basic controls. Only in the 3rd race I remembered that there is a rotation. x)
The basic gameplay is very good. It needs polishing, but I still liked the game!
It would be less frustrating if the parts are given in a pattern, like "Body, wheel, weapon".
Overall, great entry with high quality production!
Can take into account the art and music at the same time have fun, in 10 seconds with parts to assemble the cat siege car and mouse siege car confrontation, damaged siege car can also be used as a broken piece of attack to continue the attack. After the battle has become longer, the variety of blocks that can be used has also increased a lot, and the use of high damage weapons will have to pay more attention to balance and speed, and there are many connections to expand the size of the car. (I actually don't know how to use them, many of the uses of the cubes were learned from the rat's siege cart)
A bit of advice: you can tell me in advance what the next square is, just like Tetris. The later stage is much more difficult to build a car that can not compete with the rat, only to let him roll over himself

The art is awesome!!
The sound is rock!!
Maybe...mmm.. the theme not is really applied because this game is better without this, but the game is really really good.
Reminds me of a flash game where you effectively did the same thing but without the time limit. i think it was a nitrome game..?
Game is polished and solid, graphics and audio top notch. Heavy metal adhd mad max mood is well set :D
Ten seconds is an iffy bit too little time to build stuff from random components, the game could benefit if you had even one memory slot or you could juggle around already placed blocks or something. Still it was great fun when you can spy on enemy builds and try to make your own according to them and also the feeling of success is great when your build at last holds together and even makes it to the enemy carrier.
Great entry overall. Nice use of physics!
Oh, and I played it till we fell out of the cliff. Couldn't destroy the enemy carrier before that.
Great job making this fun and creative game!
I enjoyed it a lot!
I may have got it wrong, but if there's a time limit AND you get random order of parts, it becomes a bit too frantic ( at least for us old people ) , maybe since we're using mouse / touch , let the player pick parts from tray ?
It's great to play and at the same time it's very frustrating. Very good job guys  I had a great time playing.
I wait the multiplayer version :stuck_out_tongue:
Not sure if I ever hit the enemy tank more than maybe 6 times. I started with simple 1 cannon tanks, but eventually started getting okay at stacking my tank better and assigning 2 cannons. But overall, I probably failed on 90% of my designs anyways.
I really do love the overall concept. I know the theme is probably too limiting, but a version where you have variable amounts of time to construct something (maybe due to a resource you farm) would allow for some nice progression. Pretty ambitious entry overall, I'm not sure I'd know how to code something like this myself.
the only feedback I have is try to lean in to how crazy it is I was playing this with some friends, and after we fell off the edge of the world quite a few times, we decided to try the 1.2 build.
the piece preview is great but over all it was much less fun with out all of the craziness of having to build while the last chariot was out mixed with your own chariot's smashing in to one another. It went from something we were playing non stop trying to figure out to very easy and a little bland.
We actually ended up going back down to the LD version to recapture the fun crazy energy your game had in its first build.
Overall love the game, but if you keep going with it please at least include a mode with the crazy energy your first LD submission had!
I could have played for hours, if for every ten seconds I spent building the ship, a new penalty would be added or something like that. Making it my responsibility to increase time pressure.
Very very solid entry, I'd play an extend version :)
@rosymaple
In fact, we also prefer the initial version of the difficulty settings, but there is too much feedback too difficult, so we made a lot of changes to reduce the difficulty, which does reduce the level of confusion a lot, perhaps let the mouse side to keep 10 seconds to make a drone car can alleviate this problem, many enemy vehicles put together is very fragile, this is to be able to make the player's car can easily one to beat multiple vehicles. This would have been good, but if the rats' vehicles are only born when the player's vehicles are born, then obviously they are too weak. Thanks for the feedback, maybe I can try to convince our program to make a double difficulty version. Because as you can see the 1.2 version will also have people unable to complete the game. Maybe the 1.2 version would be good as an easy mode.

These days several of our team is also thinking about how it should be if made into a multiplayer game, there are too many ideas, and it is not certain that these ideas will make the game more interesting. This may not be a goal that can be achieved in 1 month, so until then let's wait for the voting results!
The mechanic is super smart and fun, the art is gorgeous, the sound design works nice.
I especially liked the randomness during the building phase, it couples well with the timer tension. As other said, 10 seconds mights be a bit short though?
Why is it not in the Extra category though if there is no version done in 72h? Is it not possible to move a jam game to Extra? I am sorry, but I cannot rate it as if it was a jam game!
Thanks for the game anyway and great job on this ✨
Congratulations!
Great experience overall!
