Incredible aesthetics. Game is a joy to look at and has a nice atmosphere, which the music complements. Simple but effective control scheme.
Even after playing it for a little while, I'm still not 100% sure I completely understand the way it works. A little more instruction or clarification could be helpful.
Thank you all for the kind feedback so far. I updated the description. Now it should be clear what to do once you harvested all the energy of a dimension. :D
Very nice feeling music.
Graphics is very different to any other game - cool!
Game mechanic are at the beginning a bit "unused", but with the time it "feels" better, even I cannot really explain how the mechanics is.
At the beginning I was totally lost - where am I. Yes the dot "shows" the direction, still.
I was not able to get out of a dimension after completing it, not clear how.
Overall a cool mood, sureal experience. Feels like I am a bacteria or something in the body of the host.
i really liked the geometric art and the controls, it felt very organic! at first when i changed dimension i thought it was a bug, because the movement between dimensions seems really strange. however, i liked it, and got this score:
@amarokczukay at first it actually was a bug to get out there... we lost a lot of time trying to implement proper collision responses :D In the end we translated most of the bugs into features. Also the effect around the player was a very tiny bug at the beginning. I did not manage to fix it, so I made it bigger :D
Really cool physics! It's a simple but fun game. Graphics and Music are super nice. I did not understand how to switch dimensions but until 6000 points i really enjoyed playing it.
Very solid gameplay and nice theme interpretation.
I think a instruction screen can turn the experience more complete, but for a very restrict time jam game, it's look a lot of work. The game looks very polished and the mechanics are very fluid.
It's a impressive game. Thanks for the experience! I really enjoyed it!
I really loved the aesthetics of the game! This was such a cool and interesting game... I also really liked the effects when you're about to enter a dimension, those squigly fluttery thingy effect, and the background thingy effect that I don't know how to describe... Not to mention the movement felt amazing... that slingy thingy while accelerating and then hitting balls at high speeds. Added on to that is some nice background music that fits perfectly with the style of the game.
However, when you're outside of the dimensions, the movement feels sluggish and uncrisp.
Other than that tho, loved the atmosphere of the game, and the nice simplistic art style with those (I assume to be complex) moving background thingy majiggies. Great work!
@no-whone If you or anyone else is interested in how the background is done I highly recommend checking the following videos out: www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qf4dIN99e2w&list=PLRqwX-V7Uu6bgPNQAdxQZpJuJCjeOr7VD
Fun game for sure! Didn't get it the first time, getting between the dimensions felt a bit jank, like I wasn't supposed to do it, but it works I do wish there was a way to increase your ship energy and extend the length of the game, maybe as a score penalty? That way you can like spend points to try and risk potentially getting more points during that extended duration. Anyway fun stuff once I got what was going on!

Safari on Mac did work well.
Love all the graphics: the scribble around the player, the light dots. Love the music too !
(which engine did you use ?)

To answer your question: we used javascript (with the p5.js library) and thats it ^^'
The concept is nice and the game is entertaining.
Well done!
The core gameplay is simple and strong! Well done!
