made by AncientEntity for Ludum Dare 52 (JAM)

Capitalism can no longer be escaped in space. Your goal is to buy up a solar system, mine it for all it's precious materials, sell them for $$$, then repeat.

We recommend a minimum of 10 minutes to try out the game, in that time you can complete roughly 2 stages. One of our team members spent several hours balancing the game and the awesomeness really starts to get awesome around there.

I've wanted to make something similar to this for a while, looking good

For future players:

- Don't waste your initial money, buy 1 drill then buy 1 ship.
- The real game starts when you leave your 1st system (before supernova).
- Left click on your ship, then right click on a planet you are harvesting, then right click on a trader ship.

It took me long before i looked in the comments to find out I should not start with 2 drills :) please give me a ship from the start if I have to buy one anyway. Beside me failing to understand that within the first 10 minutes after that it worked and i started to understand the game. Good game overal please expand my options while harvesting to make it more fun so i can play again.

There is a lot going on! it's a bit much to take in at first but After a while I got the hang of it. I think my feedback would echo what everyone else is saying.

Do you have any plans to keep developing after the jam?

Really satsifying to watch all the ships moving doing everything for you, the automation is fun. Micromanaging the different ships and upgrades is cool, maybe some curveballs/random events/enemies could spice things up and keep things interesting. Great job on this

Numbers go up.
I brought everything to max level and still don't know how to extract Cores. You don't really have to do anything after the second level. Just buy all ships and all drills and click on the ship on the right, it always has better prices. Kind of an idle game. (not that that is a bad thing i'm just not sure if that was your intention)

@Schlock thanks for the feedback! Unfortunately we ran out of time and couldn't implement extracting cores. Maybe if we decide to keep working on it!

Getting things working is a bit hard, I want to say it's not really intuitive at first hand, a tutorial would have been good. Great Job anyway !

It took me a while to get use to the control, I don't know if I missed a tutorial somewhere but after the first system and experimenting around the game was really cool.

It reminded me a bit of Turmoil, mine quick, sell to the highest bidders. Really a neat relaxing package!

Hi ! Nice concept, really love this kind of games !

The planets menu is really well done and intuitive !

I have noticed some bugs in the download version (maybe the htlm version is up to date but I can't play it), like cargo upgrade that don't upgrade like it is shown on the menu, ships colliding on the trade ship and being stuck there until you manually unlock them and sometimes ship refuse to interact to trader ships and you have to go back to the planet to make it append.

But nonetheless a good experience ! Loved the KSP music but it would have been even better to have it one the solar system view ahah. And I would have loved to see some orbitals trajectories for the ships !

Great game! UI was very well done. I immediately caught on to what the game was about and in fact after 10 minutes of gameplay I had no more problems.

I like the game, I do enjoy letting the ships do their thing as I watch my profits grow every year before supernova, very satisfying loop

very nice idea, i liked the automation of ships and how upgrades really helped! i also loved the different stars and planets models! time between supernovas seemed a bit too long. i don't like capitalism and destroying planets, but ok, i must admit it was cool playing this game :D

I really enjoyed it. Maybe I just didn't play right but It seemed like a lot of wait and monitor without much action. I always like a game with minions though so I had lots of fun.
