You are the newest employee of Foxcrate, a delivery service. Make sure everyone receives their packages on time!

ss02.png

Gameplay

  • Arrange boxes in the truck; consider your route and how easily accessible the boxes are when loading the truck. Hovering over a package will show the destination on the map (the house gets larger).
  • Some boxes will require signatures, have priority shipping, or contain fragile items; pay close attention to any stickers!
  • You can save time by leaving a package on the porch (as long as it doesn’t require a signature or is about to break); it will be “delivered” once you return to your truck.
  • You are allowed to fail deliveries only 3 times before losing.

Notes

  • IMPORTANT: Investigating a rare game-breaking bug that will randomly cause input to stop working. Once I find it, I'll have to re-upload, but it won't be until after the submission deadline (it's just a bug fix, so it should be okay as I understand). (Update: Could not solve it, I can’t even reproduce it reliably. Sorry to anyone affected by it…)
  • Pathfinding on the map is a little bit messed up, but you will always reach your destination (it just won't stay on the road sometimes)
  • Only had time for one track of music and one set of customer art; may update and expand later?
  • HTML5 doesn't seem to work on itch.io for some reason, but it seems to work above (although it doesn’t fit right in the window).

I love the art style so much! The gameplay of driving around town and delivering the right packages to each house and seeing the NPC get a little heart when you do it right is so relaxing and heartwarming! I also love how it’s a simple point and click adventure, don’t know why, but it works! Love this game!

Really enjoyed the art style that you used, it's so simple but I love the cute, cosy feel of it.
The music was very sweet, too.
It took me a while to notice that certain parcels were for certain houses, and that I didn't have to try and remember it because it tells you when you unload the van. I had a few angry bunnies at the start!
It was very rewarding when they finally smiled at me :)

I loved everything about this game. The mood, the music, the sfx volumes, the art style, the personality. Congratulations. 10/10. Couldn't found any bug or something to improve.

I like this a lot---just going through the routine of a delivery driver. Very relaxing.

Love the art and vibe. It feels like it could be turned into an educational game of sorts. It took a couple packages before I connected the dots on how I was supposed to know which ones went where, but it quickly made sense. Great work.

lovely art. good mechanics, maybe add a fast forward mechanic as well and you can surely make the timer a bit more unforgiving! so it should get me up on my toes! and also the fast forward mechanic!

Fantastic artwork! Fun concept although the countdown timer seemed a bit at odds with the otherwise chill vibe. I wonder if it could have worked to have the time limit be more abstract based on distance driven and ringing the doorbell vs drop off rather than a real time measurement constantly pressuring you to click on the next thing as quickly as possible. Still, great game!

I love this hand painted drawing style and animations. Also the sound fits perfectly with the activities. Very nice!

Like everyone has said, I enjoyed the art work and I'm sad you haven't gotten more people to play this yet. The artwork and just vibe of this game reminds me of Nick Jr. shows like Maisy Mouse. I feel like the gameplay even represents this, like you're showing what a delivery driver does in a way kids could understand. I enjoyed the variety this game has, I think it got a little tedious is my only problem but seeing that variety is also what makes this game standout. You already this, I'm sad I didn't get to finish the game 100% because it crashed after 10-15 mins of play. But it's a pleasant game, good work guys.

Unfortunately I got that rare game breaking bug :(

Great game though. I would love to see a hard mode where the timer is running during the planning phase. Idk how many levels are in the game or how high the difficulty scales but the 2 I was able to complete felt a little on the easy side.

The game is nice to play. I wish the pace is slightly faster but other than that it's fine. The art style is cute.

Great entry with a neat packing system. Fairly slow, but audio does keep it enjoyable.

The hand drawn graphics style is lovely, especially with the sort of animation wobble to it. Some cool mechanics going on here and they all build nicely on each other!

This is a great game, and fits the theme really well. Planning the boxes' positioning inside of the truck based on the location of their delivery target is just a great logistics puzzle. And the artstyle, music and sound effects all lend themselves to this wholesome, slice-of-life mood that accentuates the mundane yet charming nature of this task. I seriously love it.

I love the art (it's cute and sketchy), music and sfx. This game is relaxing like Papa's Freezeria, but I also wish with @skitefall that the game was a little faster. During level 4 I caught the bug.

Anyway, great game!
