As I only had Sunday to do this I went for what I thought would be a simple game. But content.. So many images and more images and text, all the text. But here it is. AWOOoooo!!! An Alpha Wolf (Search for Pixel Prophecy and Alpha Wolf) inspired game.

The game is a simple branching story where all you have to do is make the right choices. (clicking the text representing your choice!)

NOTES: - Don't click the close button on WebGL version! - I would recommend full screen, as the text can get a bit small

Really love the sound design and the little advertisment at the end, it reminds me of the choice film in stanley parable !

I sadly didn't stick around for long when I understood there was little I could do to avoid dying except replaying it over and over, but liked the low-budget aesthetics, congrats on doing this in a single day!

After finishing this game, I can safely say that the moral of the story is, don't take a break while participating in Ludum Dare, or you will die in many unexpected and silly ways. Keep yourself safe by staying indoors and sticking with the grind :P

The opening premise of the game is unnervingly close to what I myself had done during the jam. My walks in the woods were my way of unwinding, and I am quite fortunate there were no cars back then.

@rafagamedev And I'm not much of a writer, so as mentioned, I'll never make a text-based game ever again. Maybe a challenge would be a game with NO text, not score, no text on menus no, instructions. Just icons.. hmmmm...

I think you have opted out of all ratings (turned the "casual" option on). By accident or on purpose?

In any case - you weren't kidding. I died. A lot. Who knew that switching off my computer and going outside is so dangerous! I'll take it as a warning and never do it again :wink: :grin:

Opted out of rating by mistake.. Normally not many plays my LD games, so didn't think much of it. But I don't know what is happening this time.. I'm just glad people like it :D

I'll do better for LD 54. Clicking the right buttons.. This isn't the first time it's happened. :/

The voice acting and sound effects are really fun. The game is also put together really well considering most of the assets are real picutres. I just think there may be a lot of reading which isn't everyone's favorite. Still a really relaxing, good time

Click adventure, but like old tyming click adventure; like a choose your own adventure book or something. I just need the ability to put my finger in the pages and go back. ;-) haha Going outside was dangerous. I died so many times on my way to awwwwooOOOOOOO-some experience outside. Nice work.

Honestly, that's a solid adventure game! Look at all that polished UI, and a nice-looking font, and background images and everything's moving, and sound effects! I mean, some layering issues aside, the game is almost as polished as it could be. And did you say you had just one day to do it? Incredible!
