CONTROLS

Hit the M key to mute the music. Hit ESC to unlock mouse.

Use the middle mouse button or spacebar to scroll around the map and look for requested items.

Find the corresponding building (the ones with stars) to buy the item needed by clicking on the building and selecting it from the buy menu. After buying the item, return to the item request spot and click the item drop-off icon to earn a tip on the sale.

BE CAREFUL! You only have one item slot, and there are no refunds! If you pick up an item, it will take the place of the held item.

The game is designed to be challenging, frantic, and stressful.

TIPS

Every new day, you will have to pay rent $35 which will increase by $35 each day. You start with no money. You'll have to find things you can pick up for free. Click on the delivery building to buy upgrades:

UPGRADES

  • Buying item tier upgrades will allow you to get requests for more expensive items.
  • Buying popularity points will speed up the incoming requests.
  • Buying a service fee upgrade will add $1 per point per sale.
  • Buying retirement is the end/objective of the game, but the game doesn't stop. It gives you a massive boost in all stats just for fun.
  • Buying a tip multiplier point will multiply the tip on each sale. (The starting tip is 10% of the item cost and a bonus for faster deliveries.)

NOTES The game will feel bad if you you have a low sensitivity on your mouse, as you will barely move across the map making it unplayable.

Took me a minute to figure out I had no money and had to start by buying the free envelopes, but this was fun! Somewhere between relaxing and hectic.

This is really an incredible submission. It took a little time to get started, but once the game picks up speed, it's really fun! It reminds me of those tycoon type games. I could definitely see this game becoming a cookie clicker type mobile game. The only thing that bothered me a little, is I wish i could scroll across the screen a little faster. It felt a little clunky trying to quickly move from one side of the screen to the other. Also first opening up the game felt like I was just waiting around for someone to want an envelope. Once I got past that phase it was super fun to play. The game feels very polish and well done. I love slowly earning more money and delivering more and more expensive things. The graphics and music for this game are also incredible, and serve the gameplay exceptionally well. Overall, a really awesome submission. Seriously great work!

Really cool game. Pretty much every aspect of the game is great. The sounds, the graphics, the gameplay. I was a little confused playing at the start though. I like the progression of the game. My favorite game so far.

Really enjoyed this! Very frantic, and nicely polished. I think it might work a little better on mobile, though---moving the camera with middle mouse strained my hand after a while. Great work on this :)

Cool game! Graphics is good! And it is fun but I couldn't manage to click on things to buy/deliver :/
Also, I believe that the camera is too zoomed in to be a management game, you should try to zoom out more ^^

Nice entry! I like the graphics and music. The movement stressed me out. Maybe you could have made the images smaller to fit more on one screen? Then it would have been more relaxed to play.

The artwork is super solid! I kept on buying a soda, only to have nobody asking for it haha. This game is interesting because its one step up from an idle style game

Your art is great and consistent

One thing that bothered me was - I know there is a "How to play" button with instructions but I was struggling to read all of it and not forget part of it after hopping into the game. I would have liked being able to read what the upgrades do when I'm in the game and looking to upgrade

The art is great and the game is good, took me a while to notice that I can buy mail for free, so I need to start from that. It would be nice if at the start of the game, the camera is highlighting the Post Office first to let us know that we need to start from there. Good job, and congrats on completing this game!

took a bit to figure out that delivering letters actually earned anything. art was great. however the mechanics for moving around the map was not great. right mouse button would have been better, or maybe a minimap? thanks for making the game.

First update!

**I also noticed that if your mouse if set low sensitivity the game becomes pretty much unplayable. I'm not really sure if there is a fix for that.**

@blo - Added a zoom with middle mouse in version 1.1

@paulhocker - Added a move with right click option in version 1.1

@pralista - Added a label to the post office and started the camera on the post office in version 1.1

@helen The game I was aiming to make is stressful. Sorry I know it's probably not your cup of tea. Thanks for playing and the feed back.

@argaf Sorry you had trouble the playing! The reason why you couldn't find where to buy and sell is because it's poorly communicated that you start with no money. You must do postal jobs to earn enough to buy other items to deliver. I hope that I can convince you to give it another chance with that information in mind and version 1.1 now has a zoom with middle mouse. If not thanks for the feedback and playing.

Thanks for your feedback and help to make the game even better than what it was.

I liked it, wasn't that stressful, but just jolly challenging. I enjoyed the art style and the overall aesthetics a lot, the music was very well suited for this too, loved the mood it brings. I feel like before pressing the start button it should ask you really "have you read how to play" haha. Oterhwise really well done, good job!

Ooh I liked this one, and haven't played one yet that is similar. The screen may be just a tad too zoomed in for my liking but the music and graphics are so good I didn't mind. It gets kinda hectic which actually stressed me out, but that may be more due to taking a while to figure it out.

The art is really, really impressive though. Great work with that. I could see this being really fun on a touch screen having to drag around to see everything. A lot of potential here.

The music is good, the graphics were excellent. Why didn't you just add a player and have him walk around? It was a little awkward with moving the entire map to get somewhere.

Your idea is solid, but the actual game play was, tedious

@beebster-games I'm sorry to hear that you didn't enjoy it!

My goal was to create a fast-paced gameplay experience, and moving the camera around the map is the quickest way to achieve that. I aimed to make a challenging tycoon-style game that focuses on management skills rather than movement skills. Even if I had included a player character, the game would have still been quite tedious, just slower. Plus, adding a player sprite would have required extra time and complexities, without adding much to the game without fundamentally changing it.

I hope this explanation helps you understand my thought process better. Thanks for playing and the feedback.

The graphics are wonderfully pretty. I also find the gameplay idea very good.

I almost quit the game at the beginning and gave it a bad rating because I had to find out that there was free stuff. I even thought it was a bug that you don't have some start money.

What really dulled the fun of the game was the camera controls. Please put something like that on the arrow keys or WASD next time.

(I played the Web version. No full screen available)

nice game! the graphics look great, I like the style a lot. the gameplay was a little bit stressful, because of the dragging mechanic for the map. but I think it's a great idea to have free letters to earn your first money with and then slowly progress to get the other delivery goods :)

Interesting control and gameplay. It took me quite some time to figure out how to play the game, I found all the buildings and items beside the post office while I was trying.

@epicgamefan Thanks for playing! It makes me happy that you gave the updated version a chance, and the work isn't for nothing. I'm still struggling to find a balance to the game. I want to make it hard but not so hard the upgrades are unachievable, or the game feel like it outpaces you.

I want to re-release it after the jam on newgrounds to see how much of the feedback from others had improved it.

Thanks for the feedback.

I did not try the game with the old controls. As I see people were complaining a bit about them. With the new controls the experience is absolutely perfect. For me it was a beautiful little game, the graphics and the aesthetics are perfect. Very nice idea and even better implementation! Keep up!

Loved the graphics. Great music. At least for the web version, really tricky to move around the map, and the game can be a bit grindy at the first tier. Really good overall!

@mpk90 Thank you so much for giving it another chance. You rock!

@farfadet46 I don't know why that happened?? I added a quit menu on Esc in version 1.4, just in case it happens to others. Thank you for letting me know.

@deadbydeath Thank you for playing and such a heart warming comment. I really do appreciate that you played the new version as I'm not sure how many people it's reaching and if it's even worth it. This gives me hope.

@blotosaur Thank you for letting me know how the progression was for you! I was most interested in how that part of the game plays for others. I need to work out a better balance as the whole game should feel challenging, but not grindy. Right now the I feel like it's exactly how you put grindy then super easy.

@vivyhasadream I definitely needed to give the player more feedback on which buildings a clickable and what you need to progress. Sorry for the game's poor communication in that department.

Thanks you all once again for giving me feedback and helping the game get better!

This is a fun game! The main difficulty is navigating the map and looking for stuff, which takes away a lot of the fun of a management game.
The art is excellent.
