Cute graphics, I like the dog. Good color palette.
I was able to use the arrows to move left and right, but not up to climb the ladder. With what the other binds are, I agree with the above poster that full functionality on the arrow keys would be helpful.
I like it but can't finish 3rd level because of inputs mapping :( Would be the best if jumping and climbing ladder was mapped to up arrow. The gravity needs a little tweaking too I guess because the dog falls very fast sometimes! Animation is nice, reminds me of some old comedy anime like dr. slump or games with kunio-kun
EDIT: Ok managed to complete all levels!
Cute graphics! Could use some cute music to match. A bit short but you get the gist of it. Pretty fun to race the box even if it took me quite a few tries:sweat_smile:!
Solid work for compo, childhood vibes. The only thing that happened for me is that it kinda bugged out in the finish and didn't trigger but for that (time) constraints - well done.
Amazing game. The art is pretty nice. The controls are good. The mechanics are interesting and fit well with the theme. I would've loved to have more levels. Nice work man!
Fun game, great pixel art, always happy to see a well-made tutorial like that. The difficulty increase was just right and the last level gave me a real challenge. Good job
This is a very cute platformer game, and I love the little dog that pops out at the end of each level. I really wish I could give its head a good pat as a reward!
Beautiful pixel art. The dog is very cute. The tutorials were informative. After many tries, I made it through the 3rd level. Fun little game!
Something needs tweaking: It's weird that I can move with the arrow keys, but aren't able to climb ladders with the UP key, so I had to use WASD. And the ability to jump away from the ladders might improve the control experience.
I also spent some time in the 2nd level thinking I would have to throw the package straight into the tube. But it turned out that the tube works by grabbing the package like a vacuum cleaner
I like the central idea of having to carry an object that changes what your character can/can't do. And the idea of the pipes is interesting. I feel like this would make more sense as a puzzle platformer, actually - figuring out ways to progress with the box through networks of pipes, etc. As a (really punishing) platformer, I feel like the potential is a little lost, the box doesn't add much to the game. Definitely more to explore with this mechanic, I think.
This is very cute, I'd love to see more done with this mechanic. I wish you could control the character with the arrow keys as well -- doing everything left-handed felt kind of weird, and you could move with left/right but up/down didn't climb on ladders. Other than that, I think this is pretty cool! Level design was interesting and it was fun to try and line everything up perfectly on the last level (though the timing/collision felt a little tight when trying to re-grab the box, haha). Good job!

Good work and congrats on your 2nd jam!

Nice game play too!
Great job!

Graphics and vibe is really cute!
Overall solid entry.
