The rocket controls are difficult at best. The idea is good, the sound and graphics but it was very difficult to play

Very well done in-depth simulator. It's seriously very good! The physics and mechanics are tought but that makes it so much fun. Extra points for that "landing indicator" it really helps you get the sense of your place in the space. Good job my friend!

The concept is great but I really had a hard time with the controls. Good job anyway, it could be frustrating at some point but it was fun anyway

Physics has left the chat...
But it's actually funny!
The controls are ruining everything, it's just annoying.
But other than that, it looks good. If the game is polished, it will bring a lot of fun.

I think there's a really good game hiding here, but I couldn't see it. Controls and physics makes this really unforgiving. Wasn't able to land on the moon. Controlling the rocket was really slow and unpredictable. I wanted to do big turns to course correct but it was either too slow or I couldn't turn in the direction I wanted. Maybe in a such a small gameworld, the rocket should have a much lower mass and be more nimble?

It's a super ambitious idea and it's cool that you went for it, I really want to applaud that. It also looks like everything is working under the hood. It's just a question of tweaking the controls and physics properties.

Very cool graphics. The controls are a little tricky, but it's fun to play. Great job.

Interesting, simple and difficult

I would agree with people above - the controls are way more difficult than just a classical WASD. Plus for some reason you made AD a yawing control and QE as rolling (usually it's way around, check KSP for example), which makes overall control way harder.

I do like the style tho, it's a minimalistic and nice

Nice concept. I like the graphic style, but controls are wierd. Also sometimes orbits are strange.

Wow, you put a lot of work into this one! The simulation feels really smooth and the models are great. I really enjoyed just flying around and testing out different arcs/approaches to each landing area. The trajectory and height indicators are a really nice touch and very helpful at times. It took me a while to get used to the controls, but I think I was getting pretty decent after a while. This is quite impressive for a short weekend jam game!

@chompdev 46 hours of work. I want to really thank you for giving the proper time to play this game, really appreciated.

Wow, what an ambitions entry! The graphics are very nice. Unfortunately, the gameplay-wise the game falls flat due to the hard controls, as others have also mentioned. I was able to finish the tutorial and deliver one package in the actual game, but ran out of fuel immediately after. I guess one way to make it more forgiving would be to get rid of the fuel meter altogether. Then you could at least fly around and learn the ropes without having to worry about being super optimal in your rocket thrusts.

@juutis I honestly beileve that we are now 3, those who managed to pass the tutorial. hahahah
Thanks for playing.

The controls are really hard, but I really enjoy them nonetheless. I played poorly, but that didn't take away from my enjoyment of the game. Loved the UI indicating gravity pulld and stuff. So sorry you didn't end up adding sound, it would've been an amazing.

The game is looking really good, but controls is really difficult to control. The idea is fun and I had fun trying the game. Overall a interesting and pretty little jam game.

This is sooo hard. I love everything about it, but man I was not able to land even on that moon. But it is really good so I want to try it later on and hopefully will be able to continue :) Great job done, really impressive!

I lost my nerves with this controls, (I'll never be a space pilot).

Echoing everyone's comments above. Keep refining the mechanics and it'll be a lot of fun to play. Reminded me a bit of The Outer Wilds, but.. way harder and less responsive.

I love how crazy you have gone with the physics. You have put a lot of time into it.

Nice job! I had fun trying to land my rocket :D

The visuals are beautiful. You did really well :)

Really nice art and trajectory prediction thingy. Actually had a lot of fun but did not managed to drop the package on the right spot and not sure if it was possible to pick it up again or just needed to restart.

Here is my attempt:

@icxon from near 8:00 in the video, you played like I envisioned back in LD start. Sadly the game is indeed hindered on too hard controls. Thank you for the gameplay!

This is a super impressive entry, its gorgeous and does so much for a jam game. Congrats.
