The mechanics of the four boosters is a lot of fun, the sounds with the game are great! Fun to play!

@rhewid Nice pose 😁 I thought I had the camera aim at the baby when you release it, or do you mean like a full on chase cam? Aww, dang it. I just checked and I must have broken that in the final build. I had it at one point. 😢

Honestly, I love this game and it's amazing to know you did all the voice acting.
Once the controls are down the game reaches new heights, yeeeeeeeehaaaw!

I think introducing a baby launch mode where you can see how far you can fling a baby would be an awesome addition XD.
It gets a bit repetitive but other than that I can't really fault anything... Great job, and can't wait for number 3!

I got 3 babies delivered before having to quit, definitely a tough game to handle, maybe a bit of angular drag would have gone a long way 🤔 Also having the music not reset would have been very appreciated.

Oh man, the curb at the start was the bane of my existence haha. Fun idea. Even though I was really bad at the objective, zooming off the ramp was its own reward. Well done.

Funny idea and nice voice acting, it really transported me to my childhood. The split keyboard controls were really unique and it was pretty fun zooming around in the lawnchair! I couldn't for the life of me deliver a dang baby though, I tried to go as fast I could but kept getting stuck on the curb next the yellow cylinder. Overall enjoyed it though!

@nuin Unfortunately, some keyboards only allow certain keys to be pressed at the same time. If you have a controller, you can use the bumpers and triggers, but for some reason it only works in the downloaded version.

@cinterre and @claybro2021 You can actually spin around and yeet the baby into the zone. :)

It is quite a difficult game to play but the mechanics are quite new and fun. I don't know what the problem is with babies, but I'm going to pretend I wasn't throwing babies off the roof. The "only" weird thing was the sound, it plays many times while I hold the buttons.

This is giving me QWOP PTSD, extraordinarily silly and fun game oml

What sound were you referring to playing many times? The rocket thrusters? Like they cut off and on? What browser are you using (or did you download the game)?

Oh this was really funny, got me laughing out loud, super tricky and hard to manage, but I think that's what makes this game tbh! Graphics were quite good too, decent modelling and I loved the mouth on the pelican!

@jitspoe hahahaha I know, I was kidding. I like the humor of the game and the absurdity. Although I must admit that the theme alarmed me a little.

I played it from the browser, I'm using chrome. As I hold down the keys, there is a sound that seems to loop forever, without waiting for it to finish playing.

LOL my keyboard apparently doesn't support pressing four simultaneous apha keys so I struggled (more than what I suspect is usual) with the controls but this is hilarious, kudos well done

I love the voice acting and lovely janky physics, really impressed with the amount and quality of models and content in general. Very touchy to land babies but I love physics games, very charming game!

Sweet game, just feels a little too uncontrollable sometimes, maybe would be cool to have inputs not react instantly, so they work at the same time, also I hope physics are not random. Otherwise I really loved trying to get better and deliver all babies.

@spacespytv I actually animated the mouth procedurally by rotating it using the amplitude of the sound. Worked better than I expect. Love how jams make you come up with crazy solutions to do things quickly! Animated the guy by applying forces to his head, haha.

@cheesepencil Yeah, this is a common problem with non-mechanical keyboards, as the wiring only allows certain button combinations. If you download the game, you can play it with a controller.

haha I love this game, it took me a while to get it working with my controller because my keyboard doesn't let me have more than three rockets active at once. But once I got it working it was super silly and fun. I completed it in 17 minutes

Solid entry! Very fun game, I really enjoyed the audio and how you fit the theme.

I was never good at qwop either, i managed to get through the first water delivery but man the second one just seems impossible short of a lucky sling! I enjoyed it though, could have delt with maybe not having the voice lines repeat every time though :D

What a fun game. The concept is great, the gameplay is very fun, but my favorite thing appart from that are the dialogs, and the music, it feels very well polished.

I need to try this one with a controller later, just found that with my laptop I can only activate at most 3 thrusters at a time 😅 (at least I got to deliver the first baby)

I found this a bit too hard, but I think my brain isn't suited to these sort of games either! I got 3 deliveries eventually, but sadly my efforts were all hail mary's and less reactive strategy!! The sound bytes were funny and added to the mood, but my level of play meant I was re-starting so often that it starts to irk you when its the 50th time of the music starting / butterfly line :D

I liked the intro and the interaction between the characters, and some funny writing too!

@elysiagriffin Aww, dang, I missed the stream. Thanks for giving it a go, though, and linking to the time on your VOD! Unfortunately, the intro was on by default and you turned it off 😭. If you have a couple minutes, you might want to try watching it, as that's where most of the "budget" went on this jam, haha.

@honest-dan Yeah, I wanted to try to make the controls easier somehow, and it ended up being harder with the baby flapping around back there and I ran out of time before I could do the things I wanted to try to stabilize it a bit more. Oops.

dang, my final time was 15:56 and thats with previous rocket lawnchair experience too! The added mechanic made for a nice twist, and it felt nice making a delivery from flinging the baby instead of just landing on the spot yourself, especially as a last ditch effort after you lose control xD

Struggled a lot with the controls to start but glad I read some of the comments because it was my keyboard limiting me to 3 inputs. Swapped over to controller and really enjoyed the challenge! Unfortunately my stream stopped recording on title screen of the download version so most of it I only have my reactions, sorry! :sweat_smile:

@lomby OBS often struggles with fullscreen stuff. I don't think it's specific to Godot. What's crazy is it seems to have not captured audio, either. Thanks for giving it a go and sharing your video! 7 minutes on your first go? Not bad!
