Hi! Author here, I've made this game in 6 hours, so if you wonder why it's simple, that's why.
Also, I've never used GitHub before, so please inform me of any problems with the source code, I'm going to sort it out as fast as possible.

Hey, it seems your github repo is empty, did you commit/push your changes to github? Also the itch.io link is a 404.

@icarusdev2 As I'm sure you are aware, there is indeed a problem with your source code :cop:

If you want, you could probably zip up the source code and upload it directly to this Ludum Dare submission. That's obviously less ideal than github (or another cloud git service), but it would work.

With that said, git is an extremely useful and important tool for game development, so I encourage you to take the time to figure it out, and upload it that way :)

@icarusdev2 more bad news mate. The itchio link is 404. Did you forget to make the game *public*?

It seems like the itch.io link is broken. It just says "404: Not found". Also the Github repository is empty. You might have forgotten to *push* (`git push` in the terminal).

Yep, same problem for me. Repo in github empty and itch.io seems to be an unpublished page. I hope you managed to publish it and I can test it :)

I saw same issue, itch page 404 and github empty. I hope you can fix it so we can test the game!

@sirlich @jclardy Both should be working now, I indeed forgot to commit the changes to git and forgot to make the game public, so thanks a lot for the spot on guess for the both of you.

@pauvictor @linus-lindberg The link should be working now, as well as the git link. Thanks for the pacience.

I think I won! Although I am not sure what kind of world this would be to live in. Gameplay was pretty intuitive, although on the simple side. Scope is pretty limited here, which is what makes it doable in 48 hours. However, I would have liked to have seen some "orthogonal" systems at play (ie, systems that compete with each other or otherwise cause interesting decisions to form). As it is, it just seems like optimal gameplay is to just save cash until you can buy the oil plants and hydro dams.

Interesting concept. I would love to see it expanded so you could build roads and possibly remove and replace buildings. Runs really well

Nice concept, it starts really slow, and then after a while, it is just unstoppable and you cannot lose.

But it is really great for 6h of development. Good work!

Hey. It was fun simulation of a city growth. With a bit more ui polish and features it could be a full fledged game.

Great game with an interesting concept. I am curious what can it become with more than 6 hours of work !

I call this some green living. At least, for the one guy who lives across the bridge from the greenery...

That was kind of fun. I love watching my town grow =)

Its a very nice little game. It is very simple and satisfying in its simplicity. The economy inflates very fast and could use a little more challenge.

Nice to see another power delivery game! I enjoyed this. Simple and short, but fun. Good job for such short time!

cool to see a working game in 6 hours, that's tough!! I wish I could enlarge the screen a bit, the tiles are incredibly tiny on 4k displays (web version)

Fun game, I like the art and concept, I guess it's delivering power?

Nice work for 6 hours

The tile placement should probably follow the mouse position -- I didn't realize at first that you could un-select with the right mouse button, and the tile placement was offset from the mouse, so selecting a new tile was a little awkward. Otherwise I like the cute visuals, and it's awesome that you got this put together in 6 hours.

It's definitely a impressive work for only 6h of development! There was some issue that made the game use only a small area of the screen but still was able to play until fill up the whole city. :)

Would be nice to have a feedback on which unit you have enough money to place and always show your cursor or current tile highlighted.

There is something really relaxing at watching our little town grows :)
I didn't get every particaularity of the game, but for a 6h entry, that's quite nice actually !
Well done :)

Impressive for 6hrs of development. Satisfying to play (although feels a little unbalanced as other comments have mentioned)
