Fun little game that would be easy to expand uppon. Im not sure if it was intended, but if a creature clings to you you cannot shoot him anymore and you automatically lose the game. anyways, simple but fun!
This is pretty fun, and the sounds are really nice and satisfying. I wish that there was a button to restart when you die because pressing escape closes the game for me, so I have to relaunch the game when I want to do another run.
This game is so juicy! For a game without engine, you've polished it really well. The gameplay loop is satisfying enough, and overall, I enjoyed this. My score was 153.
A pretty simple but engaging game. But, I do wish that there were more enemy types or added complexity to keeping the circle from closing in on you. The sounds were satisfying and the pixel art is very well done, good job!
Really really nice gameplay loop, and runs beautifully - I feel like I could have done with a better indicator of how much damage I was taking from enemies but I quite liked the minimal style, and the sound effects fit really well.
Nice entry, got a good feel to it! Didn't understand the speed mechanic first but I went back and read the description and it went better from there. Maybe crystals could drop from enemies instead? but that's a design descicion really. Some upgrades would be extra fun!
Fun game! Love the minimalist artstyle. The sound of getting hit played a ton of times sometimes when I got hit, but thats the only tiny thing. The gameplay was tight! Good job making the game :).
Got to 211 score, I am the best so far here hahaha
- interesting take, I liked the struggle with the enclosing circle wall.
- I think the spawning crystals should avoid spawning in the corers or close to the edges, since even at high space availability it would be hard to get to them from the screen center.
- There wasn't much reason to stop shooting, things died pretty fast so I basically held the attack button all the time
- there seemed to be a problem with the shooting sound when you got close to the enemy or maybe it overlapped with another sound, it went away when I stopped shooting
I really like these types of horde shooter entries. Amazing work making it so unique and fun with just a few pixels. Big shoutout for the audio work. Made the gun so punchy and gave great feedback.
