This is a short story of a person who is going to the club having a good time.

What will happen? What will you discover? It is up to you to play and find out!

There is minigames where you need quick reflexes. Otherwise it's a story driven game. Have fun!

I really like the game aesthetic. The graphics is great and audio is done really well too which contributes a lot to the feel. The variety of minigames paired with the story in which they are embedded gives a welcome challenge and is really funny at times. I loved the DDR-style dance minigame. With not much more polish and some expansion it could be a full title. Well done.

Great atmosphere with nice work on the music that can sometimes be heard from afar or louder. The graphics are nice, we are interested in the story. It would have been cool to have a little more interaction. Good job!

Absolutely loved this. Great take on the theme, the dialogues were super funny, art and music worked perfectly, and the mini-games were fun!

Really well done!

@tayteus we would have added extra interactions, but the code turned to a sphagetti at some point trying to finish it. :smile:

So some of the time was fixing and we did add as much as we could to it. I'm really proud of our team!

The dialog system that I implemented didn't have option to add more separate dialogs currently, it would have needed more work. Level/scene changing could have been done different too, with the player moving in the levels. But again, time limit was issue to do any rework on it.

I'll do a blog post of the mechanics and a retro of the jam at some point. Source code is also available if anyone is interested!

Nice game guys! I loved how you related the theme of the jam to your narrative and also loved the music and aesthetic. It's amazing that you did it all by yourselves!

A little more variety in the minigames would have been appreciated but taking into account the little time we have it is reasonable.

I've had a good time playing your game, congratulations and keep up the good work! ^^

I was expecting a sort of visual novel, but was surprised by some fun minigames! I always like when a game has a DDR like rhythm minigame. Nice music, and funny story.

@davidex93 just to correct you, there were three of us. Béphane made art and music, I did writing, created a dialog system and made the scenes and sso made all the minigames(timing bar, dance-game and barman/undertale game).
I couldn't have done so much work in that time alone. We have a good team!

I failed to dance, had severe gastrointestinal distress, destroyed the plumbing, got battered with beer bottles, and went home alone. Very realistic club experience.

I really like the graphics, soundtrack and the funny dialogs in this game. Also love the included minigames. A unique idea, I like it!

neat minigames, though I'm fairly certain my keyboard couldn't handle 4 arrow presses at once.

@mmason Thanks! D, F, J, K keys might be easier to use for it. There's multiple key mappings to choose from.

I love it! Had me laughing out loud, though I failed so badly at the dancing (just like in real life).

Those minigames are impressive. Great job! Also the sound design is very well done. With the muffled version for when you're not on the dance floor inself for instance. The graphics fit nicely together

Man, I really liked the game's story, the colors bring the idea of the city's lively nightlife. I liked it and I noticed the reference to Undertale haha. I think it would be cool in the dance part to have some indication that it was correct, the music to continue, the character to dance, a sound something like that. In the part of the fight that references Undertale, I think a better design would be cool to match the aesthetics of the game already presented before. The game is very fun, and has several minigames which makes it much more exciting, congratulations.

Impressive what you managed to fit into the game. I was kinda caught of guard when a mini game started, a small transition would be nice to give a chance to switch contexts.

I really liked the music! It was catchy and set the mood right away. The gameplay was really fluid and I enjoyed both the dialogue and the minigames. Fun (and funny) game!

Nice - a story game in this short period of time - impressive! The dance game was way too hard but I really liked the other minigames. Music was a very good fit, the topic seemed to have been pushed in a bit too much. But well done!
